LpLunatic92 Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 I know on Reanimation they had someone featured in almost every song, but do you think that they will ever have someone featured on one of their albums? I think it would be sweet if they did. What are your opinions? Quote
GraDoN Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 i hope not... to me that takes away the credibility of LP... L-Redshift-L Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Amen Gradon, Ahhh, give me back the old linkin park with all that awesome scratching and mixing from Hahn! + LOL @ Tsinoitcelfer Quote And I, Just wish that I didn't feel Like there was Something I missed And I, Take back all The things I said To make you Feel like that And I. tsinoitcelfer Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 yeah true but its the scratching that we love him for.... i want to hear more of it on the next album I like his scratching too. He does some really nice scratching rhythms on Don't Stay and Points of Authority (which he likes so much that he redoes it on Kyur4 Th Ich and Pts.Of.Athrty, and on Madman Returns, if that's even his). But it only really really shines, to me, when used in conjunction with something else, like, chopped and screwed beats like on Session and Cure for the Itch (which I've recreated the drum track on; you can download that here.) I think it would be sweet if they did. What are your opinions? if its something like reanimation,i'll be really looking forward for it but as everyone ^ said, the probability of LP collaborating with other artists on their own album is almost nil Quote There are words that must be said There are words that must be heard And there's a meaning to these quite absurd Coz there's a footstep in the clouds There's warmth in drops of rain There's a meaning to the words i sayyyy....

LpLunatic92 Posted December 20, 2007 Author Posted December 20, 2007 I think we are all hoping for that, but their style has changed so much they might never go back to how they used to be. I hope they will though. Quote
Stenners Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Linkin Parks best songs are ones they have done with other artists, they have got some great elements about them.... & dont say "why are u posting stuff like this on a LP Board", but they alone seem a bit too 1 dimentional, when others put in a hand to extend their horrizons the results are often pretty good. See Handsome Modeling School and Z-Trip Quote Delete my account, the is no reason why it should be against standard procediure, do it do it do it. Or LPF Sessions 3 leaks before it's done and Spoilers will be posted for every film release. Not to mention periodic troll invasions.

Phasewave Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 I wouldnt like it if they featured somebody else. I just want LP by themselves. No others clogging up my ear space. As for Joe for dj-ing and doing other things, dont mock him! As far as i can tell, without him, they couldnt perform alot of the songs live. He seems to control the backing tracks and synths/samples etc, keep them in-sync with the live music. Peterdea Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 heres an idea... why don't they do some tracks featuring other artists, so they can put them on the LPU huh? lol Quote Its good to be back.
azemkamikaze03 Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 See, LP has that potential to be great and really epic, I think things like being on a shitty record label and being forced into this TRL band that is holding them back. M2M was a step in a good direction because it was less mainstream. When they collaborated with Ross, I think they broke that stereotypical sound. From here hopefully they will collaborate with other Artists kind of like Lupe Fiasco did on his album get a newer even crazier sound. Quote ¿whysoserious?
Friðbjörn Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 maybe the members of LP could get some fresh ideas if they'd disband for a while and all turn to various different side projects for a while. that might be healthy. and I mean all of them, not just the ever popular mike and chester Quote [broken External Image]:http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2784/lpfas08mostintelligentym8.jpg

I would love to hear some more stuff from Joe on the next album... But I wouldn't hold my breath... :-P I don't think scratching would really suit where LP are heading at the moment unless they 'completely' change there sound again like they did with MTM. Quote
