Stenners Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Well this seems to have come across my attention recently..... the has been a rather narrow minded view in the community as it would seem, LP remixes... no matter how terrible they are or LP covers... no matter how terrible they are or bands that plaster some sort of LP influence in their title.... seem to do fairly well. When other people such as Jeezy, Ts..if..o.. yah lol, Red Razor & myself try to put out something original and creative it seems to just get ignored totally...... Jesus christ just because its got LP in it dont mean it will be the 2nd comming of God or something & the others will be just someone strumming a guitar singing out of tune...... the LP remixes these days are shit, the is nothing to see & the above people have all put out something much better. Or LPF Sessions 3 leaks before it's done and Spoilers will be posted for every film release. Not to mention periodic troll invasions.

I've heard some really shit ass remixes lately from some kids that really talk a big talk. And most of the original stuff I hear rocks my socks, but the artists are really humble and somewhat nervous about getting feedback. It's Linkin Park Forums, so artists such as you and me have to accept it if people don't want to here our music. We are a heavily GFXed influenced when it comes to music. Demographically Linkin Park, Graphics, and just general Chat are what these forums should be aiming for. I agree it would be nice if the musicians in the house could get more recognition, because the are pretty amazing. But if they/we don't oh well. Not much else you can do about it. We have the Sessions and I think that helps get peoples names out but it's up to the artist in order to draw people into liking there music. Putting your songs in a forum section that is known to not get a whole lot of views and expecting a flourish of replies and praise/hate is pretty stupid. If you have a whole album that is actually good why don't you ask an Administrator/Moderator to post a thread about it on the front site page so people can see it? As an artist you have to think of what is going to make people want to click on your thread. Putting a small thread in a rarely visited section doesn't make that happen. As a musician other people aren't going to work for you to get yourself noticed. You have to do it yourself. Azk. Quote ¿whysoserious?
