A: You have a good friend or maybe even best and you both are single. Would you or do you think it's ok to have sex with him/her although you don't love each other?

B: You had a bf/gf broke up and now you are good friends. You used to save sex with him/her and you still feel attracted to him/her. Would you or do you think it's ok to have sex with him/her after all?

Those type of arrangements very rarely work therefore i think theyre a very bad idea. Im all for casual sex however, to continously engage in it with the same person over a substaintial period of time whether you like it or not or try hard not to, a sort of bond is formed. Which can be harmful for both parties especially when they see the other starting a serious relanshonship, the other gets angry and jealous. Apart from that it can tarnish a perfectly friendship!

I reckon the same. Tons of my friends have "fuck buddies", yet I think its a kinda silly and wasteful idea.

its all about personal preferance. if your ok with "casual sex" then its ok aslong as no one gets hurt and your carefull. myself don't agree with it as i think you should be in a commited relationship, i have never had a one night stand or casual sex because it would make me feel used and dirty.

 

 

on the subject of sex with friends, i think this is a huge mistake. once you have crossed that line there is no going back and it changes things forever. friendship is more important than sex as you need true friends in life.

i actually had B with my ex in the time we were on a break, didnt feel weird at all..

 

A i'm not sure if i would do it, my best friend and i almost had sex at one time but i stopped it cause it didnt feel right and i thought it would maybe ruin the friendship..

Friends with Benefits isn't a very sensible thing, imo. Sex often lead to problems. I don't think it should be something taken casually. I mean, what IF the condom broke or something and you or your partner got pregnant? You should only have sex when you feel you are responsible enough to have a child with the other person, because there's always a chance that the girl will get pregnant.

Sex has been blown way out of proportion by people, and because of that it has a huge stigma attached to it.

Anywho I'm not effected by sex too much, I mean, sure I wana do it cause its in our face's everywhere we turn, but I'm not truly fussed about proving to my friends that I can fuck a girl like them. And the good thing is they don't really care, so I remain a virgin. But as for having sex with a close friend, I couldnt unless there was some kind of agreement or something. But regardless I couldnt look the same way at them again.

i am making it sound like a bad thing, thats my viewpoint, and you make it seem like a good thing, all i was saying was, we cant ALL have it like this, sure YOU might have that luxury, but its something im certain the MAJORITY dont have the luxury have having a "fuck buddy"

 

i think a "friendship" would hafto be pretty shallow on both ends to have both people sleeping with each otehr and not acknowledging the possible ramifications, its like in Scrubs when JD and barbie doll(i cant honestly remember her name, i always remember what Cox calls her xD) do it and we could see the ramifications, how it turns out into such a superficial relationship. yes its from a tv show, i cant hoenstly say i know you well enough to point to a situation where you and a friend have that kind fo relationship, but if you2 manage to keep some form of dignified relationship while screwing each other, then good for you, but it cant be like that for everyone

 

people have personal preferences, i dont know why that makes em "uptight" or w.e about sex, it HASNT blown out of proportions, the risks, the factors attached to them are REAL, just because you choose NOT to acknowledge them or you DONT hafto when ur having nookie doesnt mean everyone else will feel/think the same way
