Uni life...I am so not prepared for it. It's gonna be the first time I'm going to be independant as my folks will be 4 hours away and I have to re-make friends all over again. ..Help... allieking Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 i know this proberbly isn't as scary as your situation but as you know i started a new job 3 months ago after being in my last and only job for 6 years. i was terrified of not fitting in and not having my friends around me. my first week was scary but now it feels like i've been there years. what i'm trying to say is, all change is scary espically if your moving away from all you know. you will find it hard at first but once you make new friends and find your way around you will settle into uni life. just remember there will be lots of people there who are in the same situation as you, they will support you as you will them. good luck hun and i hope they know how lucky they are to have you there Quote [broken External Image]:http://www.inoshishi.co.uk/allie/aa.png

It's scary at first but I've found my way around the performing and visual arts area already and made friends across the campus. An upper hand I have here is that my friend from my high school came with me, but she's living on campus while I'm living off campus in a 2 bedroom place by myself. Thanks for the advice everyone!
