Like many mainstream rap songs I still don't understand the point of that song. "Superman that hoe" ?!? wtf And like Walk it Out and This is Why I'm Hot. Dude, none of these songs convey any meaning. "I'm hot cuz i'm fly". ??? Like that says anything.

I think this is a total non-issue. Who cares what other people listen to, and how often? This is like criticizing somebody for the clothes they wear, or the food they eat - its anal and frivilous.

If he wants to listen to Metallica, and he believes they are the greatest band ever, let him be!

 

Why must everyone shove thier music down other people's throats? Takes all the fun out of just ENJOYING it.

It's only a natural thing. You like them and therefore, you don't want to believe anything bad about them.

 

i.e. My Nightwish/The White Stripes obsession phase I'm going through. NOTE: fuck you Matt, lol, Nightwish is considered to be metal, you obviously haven't listened to enough of their songs like "Crownless" and stuff like that. Now, if someone said to me that The White Stripes was a metal genre, I would laugh in their face cos I know I'm a obsessed fan and trust me, they are not. It's like saying Brian Molko (*droolz* lead singer off Placebo) is a chick, in which to me, he doesn't look like one and I think he has a nice voice. Same thing goes with (very old think "Siva") Billy Corgan.

Uhm, I don't know...it is a bit too much to only listen to one band all the time...but...Clogz is right...who cares what you listen to...if one listenes to only one band...it's his bad cuz he's missing some good music...*shrugs*
