HaziLPTonz Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 im alternative.... errr... dashbaord confessional? i remember they were labelled emo, theyre a good band, but i dont think theyre that emo... Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/ddd296f8f90eca79dbafae096b6d28b3.jpg
Mikes_Shadow Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Dashboard confessional are not emo. They are one of the many generic false emo bands out there. Generic false emo usually consists of: -A male singer, attempting to sing above his vocal range.... with his nose. -Lyrics about how their girlfriend of 3 days broke up with them (everyone knows that) -Boring emo chords... power chords, the drop D emo chord (D-A-E... and all the chords just like that)... played just like all of their other songs. ...etc.. Mikes_Shadow Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 This debate will go on until people realize what real emo is! Quote hurr durr [broken External Image]:http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/3860/dffhgfhfghfgfghhg.jpg http://www.last.fm/user/fAgalloch

Friðbjörn Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 LP doesn't play drop D, they usually play Drop C# but that's not the point, the emo chord is a version of a power chord Quote [broken External Image]:http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2784/lpfas08mostintelligentym8.jpg
