Anette Olzon to sing with The Rasmus

Now we've got two good Finnish vocalists. Anette Olzon - new lead singer off Nightwish in conjunction with The Rasmus' Lauri Ylönen on their new album Black Roses.

 

Hi everybody!

We've had a really busy spring, putting the album together with the guys. These "last minute" ideas and fixes have become come very important for the Black Roses album, so all the waiting is worth it! For example we brought this eight years old song idea back to life. It's a duet song. I got a wild idea to ask the Nightwish singer Anette Olzon to sing it together with me. I called her and she said YES! So good things come for those who wait. Were getting there!

The Rasmus are still around? O this is too pricelesss! I love the story of Reading 2005 I think it was where EVERYONE boo'd, geered and bottled them off other then like 4 of the saddest looking Rasmus fans ever! They lasted 5minutes which is like a record.

 

Nightwish + Rasmus = Worst band ever

I listened to The Rasmus when In The Shadows came out, but I will check this song out since I really like the new nightwish album with Anette

^ I don't mind Anette personally (despite the fact I've seen her live with Nightwish when they did their DPP tour of Australia) but I honestly prefer Tarja's stuff. But yet again, it comes down to the fact that Tarja is trained in soprano and Anette has a rock hard-ass-bitch voice.
