Not saying anyone has to abide by it, by any extreme, you are responsible for your own place, but this is how I see mine in my head (not to scale of course, its general), so I thought this would be the place to share it (and a good excuse to play around with MS paint while I was at it)

Moi? Twist? Haha Oh how harshly you've judged me woman. Actually twisting stories I can do rather easily. It's posting within the alotted time frame WITH enough time left to edit which is my biggest issue. I don't even read anymore I write, I get lazy, I rush, I post, then midnight comes and I think - damn! I should have editted that part! Oh well, maybe tomorrow... then tomorrow comes, same thing...

 

But I wont miss Dexter for the world. Love that show. You'll just have to learn to accept that fact deary :-P

 

And happy you got the midnight spot? Kudos. But where's the clock and fanfare and pics and stuff you're usually in the habit of doing as of late... something wrong on planet Sarah I wonder 0_o ??

To your (Monday) update I do have a few things to say. As we have an ever widening plot I thought maybe those still with us in this might want to take note of. They're big things to thik about and incorporate into your update should you feel so inclined.

 

The body. Who killed her? Why? And who disposed of it ensuring the cops didn't rock up?

Mike's accident. Again, who wants to take responsibility? Want to say why? Want to give more detail?

Drugs. There's been a huge influx of drug addicts lately which tells me someone inside is peddling it. Maybe Justin or Jonathon (who got the big pay cheque?) are one of you behind Mike's new endeavour or is it the work of Mel's gang or The Russians in Pete's previous update?

 

Have I forgotten anything?

 

The reason I post this here is for those of you who aren't sure what to write and who are all looking for someone to contribute to their character's and stories. You've got three big factors here, anyone want a shot at rationalising them?

 

For that matter, let's dig deeper on the characters we do know. Everyone here has a story and a past. I'm pretty sure if you read anyone's update you'll catch on quick to their backstory. Why not look at others stories to see if there's something you can cross over from theirs?

Pete's a killer. He lives with a movie star. Think you recognise famous faces? Maybe you starred with him years ago? Maybe he owes you money? See someone like them coming and going at odd hours or are overly paranoid? Want to discuss this with Pete PM him and see.

 

Jos the happy German girl with a new love and a sordid past. Want to befriend her and get her to open up to you? Maybe you recognise some sadness in her? Her boyfriend is a guitarist. Want to talk shop?? She's a teacher. Got a little nephew that attends the school she works? Maybe they're looking for janitors. Want in you know what to do.

 

Nailz, a writer with big dreams. Maybe you're starting a band? Maybe you heard her music and agree. Maybe you've got a friend who knows someone who runs a bar. Think you can get someone a gig? Like her pets? Like her redecorating ideas? Anything?

 

Rav's paranoid and on the run from an ex cop. Seen someone weird lurking and maybe want to alert her? Maybe you recognise her from LA? She has a former life under a former name, did you know here then? What was she like? Maybe you think you know her deal and want extortion for your silence? Rob's looking for friends. He's looking at women too much. Want to cause trouble? Again, know what to do.

 

Mike, the tenement bad guy is making dangerous friends and even worse enemies. We have two gangs in the area, talk of Mafia involvement, and lots of drugs, guns and extortion. Want in? Getting harrassed? Owe money? Have powerful friends? Been threatened in the hall? Anything? Write about it, someone will rationalise it in their stories. It's what we're here for, as a community.

 

Don't be afraid to touch on other people's stories if you run out of things to say for yourself. It's how Sarah and myself, and recently Justin, Pete and Jonathon have all been doing, and so far it seems to be working. Don't sit back and think 'I don't want to write about violence so Im not going to write anymore.'

 

You don't have to write about anything you don't want to, but if you want people to write you into their stories try writing them into yours and see how it goes.

Sarah is now finding herself at the hands of Mike and his angry outbursts. Will she be a damsel in distress for the rest of the story or will she be a princess swept off her feet by a Prince Charming coming to save her from the fire-breathing dragon? Will Mike be put in his place because of how he is treating everyone around him, especially the woman that he 'loves'? Is Mike going to get away with his illegal activities for much longer?

 

And

 

The first note that was left under Sarah's door - Who was it? Wasn't Ravyn being a cheating whorebag because she's made it clear that she has no taste in men like Mike. There was no name left on it. Was it Justin? Was it Pete? Who was it? Was a delusional act that an individual can't remember but suddenly relapses and remembers that they were the one that left the one under her door? Was it Rob being surrounded by Ravyn's catchy paranoia and himself goes into crazy mode?

I reiterate, he IS a predator, everyone else needs to wake up to the fact, that's all haha

As for getting us together never say never. Ravyn's got this thing for bad guys as demonstrated by quick glances with Dave in the hall, with Vince the dude she's eluding, and most recently Mike at dinner (The fact she's pushing/pulling away with Rob because he's passive to boot). The way he's acting as of late he may get the goods, dont know right now, we'll see

 

Twisting stories is good though. Shows it doesn't take much work to fill a post. You Just take the opposing POV on something someone's already said. Easy. The hard work's already been done for you

we thought we could possibly EXTEND the time limit for each post

 

from 24 hours to 48 hours

 

This is to give those of you that have been too busy

to keep up with everyone else and post in due time.

 

We are not enforcing this right now.

We just want feedback to see what everyone else thinks.

 

Pros and Cons:

* If we did this it would mean we can only post once every 48 hours.

* We would no longer be keeping up with Real Life time.

* You would only be writing about what happened in the space of one Park day but you would have 48 hours Real Life time to write, post and edit it.

* This could lead to possible problems down the track if we trial this in trying to 'catch up' to Real Time again, in missing/losing days.

 

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Any views at all, for or again, please share. Thanks

I think Saturdays and Sundays should be 48 hours (maybe fridays) everything else 24...but then again that would fuck up real time more.

I think it's best we stick to what we have, for the people who don't post and miss days, they should drop in an excuse such as they were totally wasted, or extremely tired, or, blacked out. That's what i did for the day or two i had missed lol

Actually good point. I seem to be the type person too who works better under pressure (considering most of my posts are rush jobs that get in under deadline with maybe a minute or two literally to spare!) but since I'm supposed to be writing something everyday for the course I'm (supposed to be) doing this has helped me tremendously.

 

I guess we could move out everyone that doesn't want to commit to the 24hr deadline and should they want back in they write themselves back

 

As of now though I think, if you don't post within the week or at least give some reason here as to what's happening (rather than just disappear) one of us can automatically write you out. Gives us another thing to write about if only for a few sentences
