Guess the easiest way would be describing the manner you moved in, say why you did, explain a bit about yourself/past/quirks, and say you spent the first day settling in. Then others have a chance to 'see' you and say hello, or say or do something about you that you might be able to expand upon next update. Less daunting that way

No it's called having a real life now suddenly, it's been a big change ^^ I'm having more of a social life then Bathurst right now. The real estate agents may have crappy policies that I don't agree on, but they seem really nice ^^

And Sarah, just read your update. Am I right in assuming that Mike's now in on the mob action (again haha MS reference only now he aint in charge). I was just wondering. This may be the start of a storm brewing if Mel and her posse are beating up Hugh to get him to convince the tennants to pay 'Insurance money' so that nothing bad happens to them (ironically Mel and her crew dont bust in and start busting heads while they're at it) and instead he's palming it off to Mike with another so-called 'insurance scam' which has me wondering... Is Mike now working for the Mob? (Mel etc)

 

Either you or Mel may need to explain that one to me or elaborate a scam between your characters at some point down the track... just curious is all...

 

And Pete little brother I haven't forgotten our 'arrangement.' When Vincent shows up in my story (he should start lurking soon unquestionably) then I'll be in touch with you. You're my new Dexter and DAMN I adore that show already... freakin' awesome...

:rofl: true, that'd make you something akin to schitzophrenic at least... but its okay, everyone has their little 'quirks' from time to time haha

 

I totally agree on the whole conglomeration of styles we have happening here. It's freaking incredible. I don't know how it works but it does. I don't think I've read quite so much online consecutively as I have this last almost week now but rather than get bored with it I keep lurking and coming back to it. I'm like a kid at Christmas waiting to unwrap another present that someone's 'written' and posted for me while I've slept. It's awesome! (It's just a shame I'm so impatient though... I want like everyone to post all the time, logic can't overpower my stubornness, though it tries. I know everyone's got lives - maybe not me - but still... when you've got something good you never want to see it end. That's how I feel about this at the moment. Ask me in a few weeks if we keep it that long and the novelty hasn't left everyone;) Might be a different story... figuratively, not literally... you get what I'm on about, right?)

 

And as for the praise well thank you. Its certainly humbling to be appreciated by your peers. I don't know about smart or so on but I love to write and I think it shows. Okay subject matter isn't for everyone but lets face it you have to write what you know or care about. Besides, after writing here for several years now its always cool to pull away from your previous stuff just a bit at a time. If you find a winning combination stick with it by all means I say, but... at the end of the day really the only person you have to please when you write is you (then maybe your publisher ) And you should know by now I think you've got an incredible talent when it comes to writing. You might not always agree but I see it. I see a lot of it. Have fun, really... and don't burden yourself without reason.

 

We're not writing for our lives here, we're just writing about them (so to speak)

Keep up the awesome work. You seem to do amazing things when you don't keep forcing yourself but just let it come to you... Ok force a little bit, if you don't dedicate some effort you wont reap any rewards, right?
