There are some visuals available on the website but is definatly not for the sensitive. these innocent animals are skinned alive because its easier to skin a live warm animal. And then these animals are left to die...

im not going to bother signing it, even if totally against it, this isnt going to go anywhere, especially with mroe important issues being tied to china atm, this wont rate a mention

 

i spose its not quite the same, but australians are no saints either, the whole sheep mulesing has caused major issues, so in some way, its ironic you bring up the cruel treatment of animals from another country

 

doesnt make any better, skining alive is just totally wrong

I would sign it (being a vegetarian/vegan sometimes) and a huge animal lover. However, there is no way that the Chinese government would enforce any legislation due to this petition. In china there are absolutley no animal rights (i went to an animal market there, againt my wishes, and there were half starved dogs and one pecticular dog which stood in my mind who looked on deaths dog covered in his own vomit full of blood).

Unfortunatly they (apart from the Buddhist who dont get paid mich attention to and are greatly ostrisied by other members of the Chinese public) dont shared the a compassionate view when it comes to animals, maybe even the western view of animal rights.

Actually they economy is a partialy free economy and they are a totalitarian republic government

they arent communists. from an economic stance as Firehaw just stated. Secondly from an ideological background. Marx stated that in the end all humans are equal to one another and that the ruling elite class should be dissolved during the dictatorship of the proletariat (i really feel for marx ppl have either completely shat on his works or twisted it into some perverse monster). china have had there dictatorship of the proletariat during the cultural revolution with mao and low and behold they are still massive inequalities in China. an example of this as was after the earthquake. (the upper classed businessmen's houses remaining intact and the others houses being poorly designed and made of poor quality goods).

 

personally i, and may other historians and political scientist, believe that communism and never truely be achieved as marx said something along the lines of 'communism cannot survive alongside capilatism as all of capitalism will band together and destroy communism'. unfortunatly, the closest thing we have had to communism was war communism with lenin before NEP (that failed) and the small scaled communes in france.

If China will not change because of this petition, and everyone already knows that...then this has nothing to do with China, or animal cruelty.

This is nothing but people pretending they care so they can feel good about themselves. If animal cruelty really bothers you, then you should actually do something about it...not make pointless online petitions for the sake of your ego.

what china do is like what most countries would LIKE to do but dont becuase they have social morals, china only take down those that oppose them, they dotn just kill randomly, you cant couple people who are fighting/killing for a cause they feel just to a guy who kills for kicks, thats just plain wrong, and there arnet many communist states left, there maybe communist ideals within governments, but then again communististic ideals are based upon normal human ideals, so being a communist is hardly the worst thing in the world when many of the ideals involve the EQUALITY of human beings, something many countries lack, communistic ideals are perfect, but hard to follow due to human behaviour, you cannot,gradon, lump killing and communist together on a theoretical level, because thats not what its all about
