No, I demand that people be allowed to make their own decisions. When

those decisions impact the personal freedom of others, the conflict should

I'm an atheist, asswipe. Why the fuck would I convert to Islam? They are

even less rational than Christians, which is quite an achievement.

Oh, we're having a contest? What is the prize?

The issue under consideration is the fear that books promoting atheism

will "embolden some nut to start shooting pastors and Christian leaders."

When has an atheist EVER committed ANY act of violence against ANY

religious leader, over conflicting beliefs in God? Only theists are that

maniacal. I'm not arguing that Muslims are any better than Christians in

that regard.

Remember what Sam Harris had to say: "Religion allows people, en masse,

to believe what only a lunatic or idiot could believe on their own."

Can they inherit their partners property? File joint tax returns? Have

Yes, they have some civil rights. Just like the blacks did, before the

early 60's.

> If you are talking about abortion, try European laws which are far more

When did I argue that Europe and Japan had superior abortion laws?

Certainly, countries that treat human sexuality as something natural have

much lower rates of teen pregnancy, STDs, etc. Nothing would make me

happier than if there were never a need for an abortion, but that is not

likely to happen, especially in a country where some people's idea of sex

education is to stand in front of the class and tell the students that if

they engage in pre-marital sex they will burn in Hell forever.

No idea. But its obvious that the atheists are far more bloody minded

and far more likely to kill, historically speaking.

So perhaps its something in your mindsets.

Adolf Hitler was a Catholic. He had the German phrase for

"God is With Us" printed on each of his soldiers' uniforms.

He repeatedly called on the German people to join him in

promoting Christianity, presenting his nation as a Christian

Hirohito's position as Emperor of Japan made him a

Be sure not to mention that the percentage of believers goes down every

Heavily democrat party control. Even if the people are conservative,

they are ruled by Leftists.

We do not want you around us, go away. We have the right to be free

of you and your beliefs.

Because idiots like you are the first to convert once a knife is put

to your throat. Radical Islam is recruiting kids in the US right now,

starting in the prisons. They are using the drug gang model. And

those kids at Columbine would have been great suicide bombers. The

police now feel that over 1000 public schools have been targeted for

attacks by radical Muslims. And the use of IEDs against school

buses. Weak idiots like you will surrender under such attacks, just

as the French did to the Nazis.

I'd like to know how many people Gunner the Christian has killed during his

Western Society is about individuals taking responsibility

for themselves for themselves not to God, or someones

version of God that doesn't suit. Obviously

some really rich theist scum have too much time and

money on their hands in the USA and Saudi Arabia.

IOW, they are not true conservatives! ;)

And you are not? Wow. I never met someone who knew everything before.

human endeavor?

Really? Where does that 'right' come from? Oh, wait, I forgot. You are

one of those theocrats who think they have to right to do everything

exactly the way they want to, regardless of its impact on others.

Then maybe the USA should stop acting like a drunken cowboy, shooting up

the place, and expecting everyone else to be in awe of our magnificence.

That may be tough, considering that our President IS a drunken cowboy. At

least now we have a congress that won't rubber stamp all of his insane

ideas.

Nope. You are counting wars initiated by the Christian Hitler and far

Eastern countries attempts to throw off their colonial masters. The later

are no different to the war of independence in North America. As I said

none of these conflicts over the last century got even close percentage

wise to the war between the Lutherans and the Catholics of the Holy Roman

empire.
