Would have been nice to know about BEFORE i rebuilt mine..

 

I didn't even think about buying something like that. I took the emery wheel to all of my bolts and polished them up. What a waste of time that was..

well you also saved $100+ by not buying new bolts either derek, so i'd say the time was well spent polishing them up.
05, 13:1 JE, 02 crf cam, full hmf, razr tt tires, rath sway bar, lowering link in the rear, triple rate rebuilds on front.

Actually, I hate to say it, but usually whenever you do anything to the stock bolts it ends up making them rust. I tried polishing some a few years ago and they just rusted instantly.

Lol yeah thats what I meant. First time I pressure washed it I went from midnight to six.

I used one of these stainless kits on one of my previous builds. The bolts are stainless but a very low grade. I used them all and then ended up changing back to some oem bolts in critical places after a broken a-arm bolt almost killed me

I buy that stuff in bulk from McMaster Carr. I don't think its cheaper than that EBAY listing thou, but I have a buttload of sizes. lol
