Guest Phantom Z Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Anybody ever contact skipnation about coming over here? Or is he just with a different user name? Anyway, this is compliments of his work but the link to his pic is bad so I couldn't copy it over. The 2 wire system is easy, one is a frame ground - easy enough. The second is between stator and coil ."After 05" it is black with a yellow stripe. Remove some plastic coating and solder the 2nd wire in place. Then coat exposed area with black silicone. Walla! Be careful using wires near a coil. You dont want to ground a high voltage wire because things may melt .This is bad for your machine. Quote

grtrat1 Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 I understand all that.. But does it matter which wire is for ground? Quote http://www.offtopic.forum/images/sig.png
Guest Phantom Z Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I thought they had a hoop connector on the ground side and nothing on the pos side. Just recounting from some of the research I did this morning. Quote
