woodwardspecialties Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 I just thought i would share my experience with Pro Grip. Years ago, when i raced MX and rode trails, my hands would always get sore, and torn up. I found some Pro Grip grips for streetbikes many years ago, that worked well for me. I used to buy two sets (since they were for twist throttle) and trash the larger grip, and make a set for my quad. Recently Pro Grip started selling them as a matched set for quads. On my recent weekend riding adventure in Pottsville PA i used a set of the Pro Grip 699 grips. My hands didnt hurt, and no torn up skin. Keep in mind its been a few years since i have ridden any trails so i expected my hands to be all torn up. The larger outter diameter of the Pro Gripp 699 helps to keep my hands in a more comfortable position and my hands do not cramp up, unlike when i run a smaller diameter grip. These grips also last too! After a hard weekend of trail riding in Pottsville they still look new. We now have the Pro Grip 699 listed on our site (They are all black): http://www.woodwardspecialties.com/Progrip-699-HANDLEBAR-GRIPS-detail.htm?productId=17465428&catalogId=1840&fpg=1 Also, please check us out on Facebook- Woodward Specialties, Inc.
