Samm3020 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I am currently in the process of building my 05 into my ideal mx machine. I have been waiting to do a build like this for seems like ever. I finally have the cash to pull it off so here goes. I'll kinda give an update as to where I am now. I have been working on it when I'm home on the weekends,(which is about 8 days a month due to work), so it is taking awhile. Currently my motor is almost complete: Crank: Hot Rods standard stroke Piston: JE 13:1 standard bore....this is pretty bad but I bought it awhile ago...I think its 13:1 lol Cam: currently I'm running HC2 but I have an early HRC i want to try Head: Sorta in limbo, I sent my head out to Demon about 1.5 months ago......still trying to find out whats up. Pipe: Full Rossier system Chassis currently: Installed a teixeira tech mx gusset kit powder coating in progress, (my friends and I have an oven and i bought an eastwood gun) all of my stripping is done just waiting to do my base coat silver. The end game color is called blue starlight by Powder Buy the Pound. Seat: Quadtech Hump seat Nerfs: Tusk nerfs....sounds out of place but I like them Steering Stabilizer: Got a deal on one of the Fastway Elka units so trying it out Steering Stem: +2 anti-vibe, I built it a year ago works great Clamps: Precision's flex clamps Skids: Poly swing arm...still thinking about under belly Suspension currently: A Arms: Atv Four Play LT Swinger: JB superlink Axle: G force +4 Rear rims: Douglas bead locks/ Holeshot mxr6 Front rims: Hipers with razr mx I think that is what I have so far...i'll update what is done when I get a chance. This weekend I'll post pictures of what stuff looks like, wish I had some now. Demon industries=retarded it surprises me none that its been 1.5 months. I feel bad you even sent your head there. I'm sure you'll make it 2 full months without it maybe more. As far as the head thing is concerned I was really surprised with the Demon thing as well. I think he has been super swamped and honestly I think my head is sitting somewhere in his shop waiting to be shipped back to me, just to busy to get to it. I'm not really mad about it because I'm not ready for it yet just looking for an answer. Lately he hasn't been answering the phone all the time. Quote

I got the head everything looks good, not really sure what was the deal but I have it now and it looks good. I got some more work done as well, started to put my final color of powder on some parts.
