atlantic Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 that's the bipolar creeping in...That carries no weight coming from a man that parades around in front of his mirror at night with fishnet stockings on and cock-sucker red lipstick singing I touch myself Quote Do the right thing!
eddo Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 That carries no weight coming from a man that parades around in front of his mirror at night with fishnet stockings on and cock-sucker red lipstick singing I touch myself ummm, it's black lipstick (to match the stockings,) and it has no bearing on the level of your bi-polarness. KathyA Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 DIABETES: The majority of diabetes cases are brought on by the individual life style choices, it is karma, natures pay back. So in some ways diabetes is also a choice. The individual chose to live a certain way and the consequence was diabetes. Natures just desert. I am going to let you slide on this comment. Only because you wrote that the 'majority' of cases are brought on by lifestyle. As long as you are aware that its not the case 100% of the time.. There are 2 types of diabetes, one is child onset, type 1.. The other is adult onset, type 2. And while lifestyle is definately a contributing fact in type 2. It has nothing to do with type 1. What possibly could a 5 year old do to their body that would cause this renal deficiency ? A.D.D./Depression etc... Most of these types of people also suffer from some kind of addiction, allergic to everything and most likely diabetes.. there the ones all ways talking about how tired or sick they are... They should die for the betterment of humanity. . . . Blah, blah, blah. What the fuck is this all about? While I think that ADD is overly diagnosed. It does exist. The problem lies with understanding it. And learning how to deal with it. NOT to medicate the problem. If you put your kid on any ADD medication because you can't handle them, then your an idiot. You as a parent. Again, NOT in all cases. But at least 90% of these children do not belong on medication. Now back to main subject. No, I don't believe someone can quit on their own. Usually the person with the addictive personality finds something else to manifest their addiction towards. Have you ever gone to an AA/NA meeting? Ever notice the amount of people outside smoking? Ever notice the amount of people that 'have' to have a coffee in their hands? When you put one addiction aside like drugs and alcohol, another addiction replaces the behavior. So even though you quit the main the substance, what ever that may be, something steps in and takes it place. And the addictive cycle continues. 1 Quote I want a sensitive man - one who'll cry when I hit him.

Children are born with type one diabetes. It wasn't induced by a bad life style. Although some diabetes can be treated and prevented, it is hereditary. Age and your ansesrty are two thirds of the cause of type two diebetes. Overweight is the other third. I am going to let you slide on this comment. Lethalfind Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I agree with Phantom, I think you should call CPS on her ass, you can't rescue her (unless your a qaulified chemical dependency counselor) but you can do something to help the children. Even when people with this probem get counseling or go through detox and rehab they don't necessarily stop.. Believe nothing this person tells you, drug addicts and alcoholics have raised lying to a fine art...think only of the welfare of the children. If you have a government agency that will do something before the children are half dead then maybe you can save their life. However, you alone can do nothing to help your friend. However, you alone can do nothing to help your friend.I agree with you 100%. I did report her. Unfortunately, it probably won't do her any good though. She'll pretend she kicked her husband out, blame it all on him, and after her 6 month evaluation hop right back on the crack-smokin bandwagon. I once parted ways with her for 5 years, I tried to help her for 10 years and she only got worse, would show up only when she needed money or a place to stay and she's stolen from me so many times. When she is using she will do anything to get it, steal, lie, even sell herself. There's no way I want to be around that again. Quote Do the right thing!
atlantic Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 If you were a real friend & humanitarian you would giver her some crack laced with rat poison and put her and everyone associated with her out of their misery. . . .Actually, I think she should be forced to go to parenting classes, drug tested every week randomly, forced to payback welfare for all the money she used for drugs instead of her child, and forced to payback everytime she went thru a drug rehab program (which was about 5) at the state's expense. Parenting classes won't help a person like this. She could very likely have not only a chemical dependancy problem she probably has another situation going on such as a personality disorder or posibly bipolar. People like this self medicate with drugs because they are in so much mental anguish. Thats part of the reason that some people go through rehab and stay clean and some don't. The ones that don't, often have other issues that need to be addressed and don't... Her kids need to be taken away from her, pure and simple and then some well meaning doctor needs to sew her up so she can't have more children OR catch god knows what and infect them. Its a very very sad story. I could cry when I think of children who have to live like that. Unfortunately the government agencies will only do so much. They seem to labour under the assumption that the birth parents have a right to raise their own children, even if they are raising them under horrible circumstances like you mention. It seems like they will knock the crack pipe out of the Mothers hand and give the children back. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

It seems like they will knock the crack pipe out of the Mothers hand and give the children back. You're right again. Part of the reason I've stayed friends with her for so long is because I know what she has been through as a child, and I feel bad for her. When she was a toddler, her mother would lock her in the closet and go out drinking. Her mother was once raped on the way home from a grocery store while she was with her, she was a toddler then too I believe. Her father left when she was a baby, never to be seen again. She has been diagnosed in the past as being bi-polar, but as far as I know she didn't want to take the medication. Her life was hard from the get-go. However, she's 44 now, has two grown son's who were raised by their father (Thank god), and why she ever thought having another child at 42 was a good idea is incomprehensible to me, especially since the child's father is a hard-core drug addict who also didn't take care of his first two girls. This is the reason welfare needs to stop giving out free money and healthcare to those who just pop out children for their convenience or because the are to lazy to take birthcontrol. Phantom Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 That's a sad story Atlanic but I would hope that would have only made her want to be a better parent. My husband's father committed suicide when my husband was only seven. Because he never had a relationship with his father, he is adamant about having a strong relationship with out son. Loves him more than me- and that is the way it should be, I believe. Quote Blah.

Loves him more than me- and that is the way it should be, I believe. That is so sad Phantom, your poor husband. That must have been rough. I do agree however that she should be more committed to giving her daughter a better life. I also believe that the children should always come first. I do believe she tried at first, because she would call me crying that her husband's use of drugs was tempting her and she was afraid that she would get weak and fall back into it. I told her she could move in with me if she wanted to get away from him. I know others have offered too. She would only reply "But I love him". I never understood that. My son comes first, always before any man. Quote Do the right thing!
Lethalfind Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I always thought it was amazingly stupid when people who are bipolar would not take the medication perscribed by the doctor, a medication that was supposed to make them better but people like your friend are OH so willing to abuse illegal drugs. Its such a strange situation but unfortunately happens all too ofen. Hopefully your friend will go through menopause soon and not be able to have anymore children... I can't imagine locking a child of any age in the closet. I remember how wonderful Diane was at that age, I loved playing with her. When she would cry because she was affraid, it would break my heart because you could hear the fear in her voice. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
TheJenn88 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 People just move from one addiction to another. Whatever substance, action, or "thing" it is - it's just a transition after you've quit one. Maybe that is not all cases - but from what I've known of real people, it's just one addiction to another if they have an addictive personality. They just gotta pick their poison, I suppose, whether it's crack or caffeine. Quote

They just gotta pick their poison, I suppose, whether it's crack or caffeine. I agree with you. I always resented feeling dependent on anything...When I was in my mid 20s I found my birth Mother and Father. I found that my birth Father was a raging alcoholic as well as his Father and his brothers...His Mother thought a good treatment for cholic was to put whiskey in the babies bottle. I think growing up in an environment where there was NO drinking, NO smoking made a difference in me being able to be in control of my intake. Dr. Pepper almost got the better of me but I won in the end. Whats so sad about a story like this is unfortunately the rights of these children to live a happy and safe life, take a back seat to this crazy womans right to keep them. atlantic Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 UPDATE: The saga continues. I took my son to the park today to meet a buddy of his and his grandmother. We were having a great time, and guess who shows up (first time in over 2 years) Crackhead. Ok, so this is uncomfortabe but whatever, I'll just avoid eye contact or so I thought. Well she stayed about 5 minutes and was about to leave and get in her car then spotted me and my friend. She starts screaming across the kids playground to me to "Stop talking about her to that lady". We weren't looking at her or even talking. She was screaming the F word and I honestly couldn't really make out everything she said. I just walked away in disgust. Like it isn't bad enough she neglects her daughter, but has to subject all the kids at the playground with her craziness. I wanted so bad to grab her by the throat and throttle her to the ground, but it was a playground for fucks' sake. By all means, you gotta problem, call my cellphone, you know where I shop ho, bring it, whatever, but what is the fucking problem with bitches like this? She knows she doesn't stand a chance against me in a fight, so she has to resort to tracking me down at the park and swearing at me. What a complete Psycho. Quote Do the right thing!
Lethalfind Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 She sounds a little paranoid, like she assumed after how long that because you and she are in the same park, that you clearly MUST be talking about her. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

atlantic Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I thought you were at her house just the other day? What? I haven't seen that bitch in over a month, last date was: Feb 16th. The night she didn't come home, and she never takes her daughter to the park. My friend also noticed her daughter stared at the ground the whole time. I bet psycho bitch told her not to look at us. Why bring your child to a park if you're going to make them uncomfortable. Just to satisfy your own sick ego by yelling at someone who rightfully reported you for smoking crack? You are joking right Phantom? Quote Do the right thing!

Phantom Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 No, I wasn't kidding- just confused!
