Did you ever watch those TV preacher networks? They have

"news" segments, Pat Robertson's is funny as hell. He would announce

with a concerned look on his face, in a serious tone of voice,

"Ladies and gentelmen, we bring you the shocking story of....."

And it was always a preposterous tale, one time a trailer trash

Southern woman swore that she was kidnapped by "abortionists",

who forcibly aborted her fetus. She said she was walking down the

street, and they pulled up in a van and kidnapped her. They didn't

know her, they were out prowling, looking for pregnant victims.

That's how those wacky abortionists are, ya know.

 

Another "news" story was about a woman who claimed she sold her soul

to Satan. In return, she didn't have to study for college. When she

had to take an exam, Satan would allow her to leave her body and go

look up the answers. She got a B average. I would have held out for an

A if I sold my soul to the devil. After she graduated, Satan got her a

job in a hospital emergency room. Her Satanic mission was to go

into the room where a dying patient was, and force them to give their

souls to Satan.

 

My silly mother watched all of those TV preachers, and sent every one

of them a check every month. She dutifully wrote a stack of checks

every month when her social security check came. She gave

to: Jim & Tammy Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart, Jerry Falwell,

Pat Robertson, Oral Roberts and more! Now the assholes

are ruling the world. God help us all!
