Vortex Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 You are obviously NOT part of the problem group... Yes, you are poor... But instead of being out there shooting people and selling drugs, you are on a computer learning and reading! With that attitude, you desearve all the help society can afford... But MOST of these fucking people just want a check! regardless of whether or not they desearve it... Why can't we take the checks away from them and give them to people like you! People who CARE about how there children grow up... People who TRY to make things better instead of making them worse! Some people are just not worth helping... fuck em.... But how do you police that? Really? How do you discern poor, lazy, and could give a rats ass...... from poor and doing everything in their power to change and educate themselves? Even the dumbass lazy fucks can fake it...and the educated fools writing the checks cant tell the difference..... The ones that deserve the "check" dont always get it because they are actually trying (and usually miss getting it because they are barely above the critera)...... So that gives the logic, why try when its handed out indescrimately? Put me in charge of it....ill interview and watch every person personally....i can cut that budget it half, or more!....Unfortunately im only one person and FAR too many undeserving are getting "checks" for me to squelch!..... Perhaps after 2 kids the "incentives" stop?!?!? That might help some...right? (now i only read a post or 2 above...and only caught the first few posts on this topic...so if im out of line and make no sence...keep these in mind........and the fact that im a little drunk! but sane enough to comment on the last few posts...okay) Quote -I don't know about you...but I am SICK and tired of being nice and understanding!!! -The Liver is evil and must be punished! -The Early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. How can your opinion be the correct one....if, infact, its only an opinion?!?!

The only reason I am not on welfare is because my family could help me out. I really didn't want to go there because it is a trap. If you make too much you loose welfare but still do not have enough to pay rent. As it is, if I make more than $11500 I loose health insurance for my kid. I tis really hard to make your way out of the system. It is more a trap than a helping hand. If I start thinking that a person is not worth helping for any reason then what if they have children, what of their neighbors. I can't become selective because then everyone looses all over again Quote "An intelligence that is not humane is the most dangerous thing in the world" Ashley Montague "No one should have to walk alone" Phuong Du "An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind" Ghandi "If I were asked to define an American in a single phrase, I would say 'An American is a person who has the right to be different' and I think that right is growing" William Manchester
_Wow Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Well, the poor are usually forced by economy to live in less desireable neighborhoods and with crap ass schools, Few businesses want to open in teh area so few jobs are available. People get deserate and commit crime and so the cycle continues, and that goes for any nationlity. I never said the numbers were wrong, just selective and missing a hell of a lot of information. Actually, I must side with fullauto on this as well. West Virginia is the whitest state in the union. It is also one of the poorest. It is also one of the least crime ridden. This little state shatters all of the socioeconomic excuses that the appologetic Marxists have created. 1 Quote

Before I answer those questions I would really like to think about them and I would also like to know if you are looking for my opinion based on where we are now and where I think it will go? Or are you looking more for how I would change things (realistically) and where I think we would end up after making those changes?
