I have seen threads on who cheats more men or women, and who is more prone to cheating. Given recent circumstances with a few close friends of mine, I was wondering what some of the reasons for cheating were. Let's just say that the other party in the relationship was perfectly willing to sexually gratify their partner. Man or woman, why do you cheat?

Boredom

The same pussy all the time is like eating soda crackers. Sure it tastes OK, but you sure would get sick of the same ole soda crackers all the time.

Then there is constant fucking nagging, a good way to have your man cheat on you is fucking harp at him like a fucking banshee constantly. Instead of arguing with you, he will get sick of your mouth and go find some different pussy.

Oh sure the love is still there, and usually the guy will feel pretty damn guilty about it, but what it comes down to, is something in the relationship has happened that your partner is uncomfortable with, so they cheat.

Doesn't matter if your married or single, you can fuck 8 times a fucking day, but if there is nothing else in the relationship besides the sex to hold it together, then forget it, its a waste of time.

Sure us guys think of pussy 24/7, but those who act on it, do so because there mate does not give them the MENTAL support they are looking for, doesn't matter if your a fine ass bitch who fucks like a porn star, if your a shallow person to your partner, then your partner would probably not have any problems with fucking your sister or your best friend on the side, and that's just the way it is.

well damn thats a little harsh!

Anyway, I am not saying your wrong cause i have no idea how men think. I do know they think about sex all the time. My husband admits that to me. And yeah i think about it but no where near all the time (partly because hes deployed and it sucks thinking about sex when hes gone) but i know he better be thinking about my "PUSSY" then some bimbo that might be walking around him from time to time. I can sit here and be loyal he better do the same. I support everything he choses to do and I am probably the only women he has been with who has been faithful. He can think all day but like i said it better be UNTOUCHED when it gets home to me

Studies have shown that men are more likely to cheat in the beginning of a relationship and women are more likely to cheat further into the relationship. I don't know why. Perhaps as the man finds his comfort zone the woman begins to feel neglected.

Gal, just because you want your guy to be faithful doesn't mean you have to agree with EVERYTHING he decides to do. Not only do you have the right to have your say, plain and simple, but if you just turn into a mindless yeswoman, he'll probably cheat on you anyway. Either because you're boring him by being too agreeable, or because he'll stop respecting you and think he can do whatever he wants.

Everyone pound your feet to this phenomenon. Now, let's make it loud, let's show 'em all how you move to this phenomenon. Roll! Open your soul, maybe lose control inside of this phenomenon. Just let yourself go and let everyone know you move to this phenomenon.

He is a smart guy and i know im pretty smart we agree thats why get along.

I have found the vagina that makes me smile. Thanks Gray~Gal.

Why cheat when the soda crackers make you smile?

Those soda crackers aint gettin old yet. After 2 1/2 years of the same sodacrackers, Im still eating them with a big smile on my face.

lol okay, where did that come from? You're reading way too much into it. I dont know where you got the idea that i was agreeable. However if I do come off as agreeable, its probably because I dont give a shit either way and dont think the subject is worth me getting worked up over. never did I say that I was in a relationship. I have not been in one for three years. When I was in a relationship we broke up not because he or I cheated, but because i start freaking out whenever things get serious. The circumstances I was reffering to had to do with several of my buddies who got dissed all around the same time. I was just curious as to some of the replies that I would get. I figured there would be somewhat a variety of different responses.

SD is on to something though... happiness in a relationship does get repetitive..

If you ALWAYS give it up, there is just no fun in that.. Guys like to work for the pussy, just not too hard or they'll give up and find it somewhere easier.

Teasing a cock works best... bending over to sweep trash in a dustpan counts as teasing a cock...

Hey, were guys !!!

Bitching about your inner relationship problems I.E. bills/kids/mother in law, can really get some guy out of the mood real quick..

But there is a key point to be made here

Men NEED women... we need them to tell us how fucking stupid we are being, we need them to prevent us from doing stupid shit, we need them to nag at us to get off our lazy asses and take out the trash, we need them to remind us to do shit we always forget about, but the problem is, when you CONSTANTLY nag at us, we simply get fed up and find someone else..

Plus, if you have a large sex drive (like my wife) and want it all the time, we can actually get sick of sex.

O.K. not that I'm complaining ;)

Probably after 4 or 5 years of marriage, there was a point where maybe I questioned my love for her.. And it wasn't that she EVER did anything wrong, it was probably more or less going through the usual twists and turns of life with the same person, shit happens, and you just get sick of it..It more or less had to do with the fact that we lost Madison (Our daughter) she was my pride and joy and made everything in my life complete, losing her took a lot out of me mentally and destroyed part of the relationship because of how it affected me.(long story, please don't ask).

Almost ALL couples will go through this at one point in the relationship, and if the factors are setup right, ONE OF THEM will cheat.

Oh I admit, I could have VERY EASILY cheated on my wife with my ex girlfriend (who I still hang out with ) back then, and my wife would not have been the wiser, actually, at one point she even suspected that I might have been cheating on her... I was hanging out with my ex allegedly more then I was with her.. Well, for one thing, my EX is probably more matched to me then my wife is... as in, we have more things in common and have about the same attitude, and my wife is more of a laid back quiet person who doesn't like to really socialize. I guess what prevented me from cheating on my wife was the fact that my ex and I go way back, we have known each other for 15 years, we dated for only 1, but have been friends since we were kids. So my reasoning was, if I was gonna cheat on my wife, with my ex girlfriend, I would simply leave my wife out of respect for the EX. Sure I admit I love my ex still, I always have, but we made a shitty couple for one thing, and my wife has NEVER done anything to me that would make me want to, or would justify me cheating on her. So after all these years, one thing is clear, there may be love between me and the EX, but we both are much happier being the best of friends. I don't think if I would have known her as long as I have, that the situation would be the same. I probably WOULD have cheated on my wife.

But like I said, I think EVERYBODY goes threw that phase in a relationship... where they question there love for there partner, its acting on that, that ruins the relationship.

It's too easy to just give up because of the nagging, or because of other problems and just cheat, then it is to back up for a sec and actually talk to each other.

And personally, I'm not one of those type of guys that could really face myself if I hurt someone like that just for something like sex if I get nothing in return besides the sex.

But then, some guys don't seem to mind at all, they come up with a pathetic excuse as to why they did it, not just once, but many many times. And what it comes down to, is its all mental and not physical as to why your partner cheats, so don't ever think great sex will hold a relationship together.

Dude, I will definitely take that advice. Good shit man. Too bad I utterly fail at finding "The One". Then again, who gives a shit, I am young and ambitious and I got my energy focused on something more promising...my future.

quick facts, in most relationships men tend to be more loyal. this fact is attributed to a mans primitive drive to protect and care for his family/loved ones, and his willingness to "stick it out" another fact, approximately only 10% of divorces are started my the man. some call us pitiful and dogs, or 'pussy whipped' but think about it

It all depends on how you spin it. I have heard, from social behavior theorists, that men have trouble with commitment due to a primitive desire to spread their seed around and have as many children as possible to insure the survival of their bloodline. He also stated the women invest more time in the beginning of the relationship to try to keep the man around in order to ensure the survival of her offspring which need a long term commitment. This was his explanation for men being whores and women being prudish.

Personally, I think both theories are full of crap. The way individuals react to and value relationships depend on that individual. I have never heard that statistic on divorce but it is interesting and definitely worth my looking into.

I wouldn't cheat on my gf with a close friend of mine.

I would cheat on her with a complete stranger with no tie to me whatsoever, that's from a foreign country and she doesn't speak english and she's blind, and she lives in different state.

It's just better feeling that way. Because you know then, you cheated because you need some other flavor ice cream, not because you want to change your favorite flavor.
