I'm just so flattered you people devote so much time to adulating me behind my back. Am I that important to you all, or are you just a bunch of boring fucks with nothing better to do? :p

This is like the third such post now. I'm gonna develop a media complex if you don't all stop adulating my Aussie arse so much. LOL.

I'm not sure why, but the way builder presents his arguments just emits the purest of ignorants and blatant uncaring about the fact that he may be wrong, its one way to argue i guess, but it just makes him look stupid

Hmmm, in a way, I guess you're right, arsehole.

Oh, and the correct spelling for "ignorants" is ignorance, dolt. ;)

He's also Australian and has a gay avatar. Just a loudmouth mick with a pint of ale screaming to the top of his lungs in a swamp-side pub.

Hmmm, a swamp-side pub? I'm on the surfside of a coastal island. The "swamp" was converted to an international standard golf course decades ago. We don't order pints. We drink handles of lager, or doubles of scotch and lime on the rocks. I stole that avatar, and it's starting to piss me off. Looking for another. But now that I know how much you appreciate it, RO, I think I'll keep it for a while.

A. YOU CAN READ???
Oh, she can read and write waaaaaaay better than your lame arse. No doubt on that one at all.

B. What are you basing this on? Builders ineptitude for debating?

Is this the same cockrider who backed out of his assault on AIG when I backed her up? Well yes it is. What a totally forgetful fuck. So, do you have amnesia, or alzheimers disease?

His lack of info to back up his statements?
What info were you after, tryhard? You never asked for any back-up. Now you whinge about it? Typical child. You need spanking boy. Speak to yo daddy.

His misuse of the English language?
Hehehe. Quote one instance of my misuse of the English language, dickrider. Or withdraw that statement henceforth.

You just don't get it. WE DONT CARE if someone disagrees with us, IF they can back up their statements.

I disagreed with you. What statements were you seeking backing for? Your cocksucking skills?

If not, it is their opinion that they are trying to pass off as fact, and that is a sign of a moron.

We need no signs of your moron status, n00by. We all know. :D

This is a joke right? the RAAF airlifted a sick man off of a yacht and you think this constitutes the RAAF as the great savior of the US? I'm sure Mr. Kilpatrick would agree... I was expecting something more of a heroic situation where many men (or women) put their lives in danger fighting in an armed confict, or against a deadly nature disaster where the US was "rescued".

I've read and heard enough accounts of our Diggers bailing out your soldier's arses that is fails to be humourous now. The novel, The Tunnels of Cu Chi is worth a read if you really want an unbiased account of your troops in combat.

It was written by a neutral party, or rather parties.

Just because a link is hard to find, doesn't mean it did not happen.

Today, if it wasn't for the people skills of the Brits and Aussies, your men would be copping much more flak in Iraq than the current death toll.

In Korea, your troops were avoided like the plague. The Chinese hated you then, and they hate you now. I've not met a Digger who has anything good to say about yanks. Is that evidence enough for your closed mind?

Read this link. Get back to me with your opinion, however fucked up it is.

When you can come back and explain how your "diggers" helped my ass out in the Tet offensive then I will listen ol' chap. I WAS there...you were not. Please do not tell me that the RAAF was flying strikes over Charlie strongholds when I was ass..er, I mean arse deep in a lead rain. Please tell me how you helped to comfort my comrades and held them in YOUR arms when they were on their last breath bleeding profusely from a body shot. Please tell me that the RAAF was making huge strides in the war against Communism.

Please help to dispel the myth that you are all not the big time freedom fighters of the free world.

The Royal Australian Air Force made it's first contribution to

the allied effort in Vietnam when, in August 1964, a RAAF transport flight

was established in South Vietnam with three Caribou aircraft.

These Caribous were on a ferry delivery flight from Canada and were originally scheduled to go to Australia. The crews were informed by cable, just before they left Canada, that the aircraft were to proceed to Butterworth and then Vung Tau, where they would form the first portion of RAAF Transport Flight Vietnam (RTFV).

At the end of August 1964, three more Caribous were sent to Vietnam, where the unit, working under USAF control, operated over the length and breadth of the country, mostly in support of the US Special Forces. RTFV was reformed as No. 35 Squadron on 1 June, 1966; and members of this air transport unit flew many times into remote airstrips to move Vietnamese civilians and military units out of dangerous situations and carried out regular services between

Saigon, Nui Dat, and Vung Tau.

SAS troops will continue their "mopping-up" work, including trying to capture rather than kill fleeing leaders of Saddam Hussein's regime. Senator Hill said this critical and dangerous work would continue for "some time". The navy's contribution will wind down and the air force was also scaling back. In the most recent mission, eight of the 14 F/A-18s were flying a support mission for US ground forces and returned without firing their weapons

We didn't back you in Vietnam because that war was a farce, and so is Iraq.

By year's end. US forces in Vietnam total 536,000 with 14,592 killed in combat in this year alone.

1969: In August, Morgan Gallup Poll finds 55 per cent want Australians brought home from Vietnan. On September 3, Ho Clii Mmli dies in Hanoi, aged 79.

US Gallup Poll finds, October 4, that 58 per cent of Americans believe the war in Vietnam was a mistake. Massive anti-war demonstration in Washington, October 15.

1970: On April 22. Australian Government announces that a battalion will be withdrawn from Vietnam. As large anti-war demonstrations spread across the US.

National Guardsmen kill four students at Kent State University in Ohio, May 4.

On May 8, about 120.000 people throughout Australia demonstrate for an end to the war. The biggest of the moratorium marches is in Melbourne, where 70,000 people occupy the streets. On September 18, about 100,000 people throughout Australia take part in a second moratorium.

Rekshun; You lost in Vietnam because you had no support from your own civvies, nor your allies, and the fact that you had no idea how to fight a war underground.

The only men with the balls to go into the tunnels were Spics and Aussies. The true "tunnel rats" of the war in Vietnam. We take it to them. You call in more air strikes.

While U.S. forces relied on massive bombing by B-52s and strikes by Cobra Gunships, in the tunnels the people relied on their own ingenuity.

To quote VC guerilla Le Van Nong, "the Americans used their weapons to fight us and we used their weapons to fight back. There were unexploded shells everywhere in Cu Chi. We dismantled their detonators, fitted our own, and changed the shells into powerful weapons of which the Americans were very afraid".

While U.S. forces relied on artillery support from fixed "Fire Bases," the Vietnamese used their tunnel system to move their artillery around, making it difficult for the U.S. troops to locate them. In one tunnel complex in Cu Chi U.S. GIs found two 105 field pieces in perfect working condition. They would be stripped down outside, taken into the tunnels and assembled during the day for maintenance, stripped again, and then taken back through the tunnels to be reassembled in a new location outside and used the next night.

A stolen tank was buried, tunnels were dug around it, and it was used as a command center. Three years later when it was found by GIs, the batteries, the lights, and the radio were still working.

These are only a few of the stories of the tunnels of Cu Chi. The U.S. spent ten years trying to smash not only these tunnels but the entire Vietnamese people only to be driven into the sea. Today the tunnels still stand, proof that the determination of the people-and not technology-can determine who wins a war.

http://www.oz.net/~vvawai/sw/sw31/pgs_03-14/tunnels.html

The Vietcong re-engineered your unexploded ordinance, and gave it back to you. Your troops treated the war like a day job. The Vietnamese were fighting for their country, and their honour. Big difference, pindick.

it pisses people off.
