I find it hard to discern between someone who is pissed about the price of gas and someone who is stating their opinion on why gas is so high. Follow me?

 

What I am badgering around about is, I'm a stickler for organization. I see posts that don't belong in the GF forum that should go in either the Debate Room or the Speak Your Mind forum. This is irritating and perhaps a little confusing for new members who are trying to discern for themselves where and what to post.

 

Off Topic Forum forum should be ONLY for rants about the price of gas to the reason you woke up pissed. Anything that pisses you off that is adamant, concrete... in other words... not opinions, news articles (unless it directly correlates with a pissed poster.), things that could be easily debated (liberalism vs. conservatism), et. al.

 

The Debate Room forum should strictly be for those members who wish to argue topics of the day or simple, life-related bullshit (ie dating, etc.).

 

Speak Your Mind forum should only be used for members that wish to make a "soapbox" die-a-tribe of some sort (ie Why Muslims Suck or Religion is Gay or Up With Famine)

 

Personally, the Spam forum is in good standing. I believe it should be used as a catch-all for articles and clippings not relevant anywhere else. I also agree that it would be the place for posting media and such, as Tori, suggested in a previous post.

 

The Member's Lounge has served its function so far.

You'll notice, for now, I moved some of the topics from the debate room and speak your mind forums into the GF forum, this is just to populate the GF forum a bit for the fuckup I made last night.

 

 

But yes, I do agree, members are not putting there posts in the proper category.

 

But since we pretty much have a fresh start in the GF forum, it won't be too hard to narrow down and move some topics..

 

For now, what we need to work on is getting a VERY DIVERSE range of topics on the GF forum to gain back our google rankings.

 

So for now, just try to flip people shit and make them be a little more inventive then the usual political/religious topics.

 

It was the DIVERSE TOPICS that give us the edge in the search engines, so we need to get back to where we were.

 

This also would mean, letting a few trolls that happen to pass through, talk alot of shit. I know that sounds silly, but trolls can benefit us in some ways if we steer them right.

His password is "getalaugh" if any of you guys wanna use his sorry ass to start topics, just remember, his spelling and punctuation, are kind of piss poor. His topics are written kinda silly, but he makes at least a half ass arguement about something OTHER then RELIGION/POLITICS.

 

he never fights with anybody, and he doesn't focus his bitching at anybody in general...he just like to complain about things...(I know it sounds mean, but he's kinda like TONON, but a bit dumber:rolleyes: ) .

Clearing out the GF forum, might have been a good thing in the long run even though it slows us down a bit now..

 

The members we have now .vs over a year ago are'nt as narrowminded as they once were, plus we have a stronger regular member base, so that gives us an opportunity to comeback better then before with more hard hitting commentary. Thus giving GF a stronger ground then other BBS rant and rave sites.
