The Mayor of New Orleans is upset that the federal government is not fixing his incpompetence! Isn't it the Mayror's job to make sure that the local levies, infrastructure, disaster recovery procedures, etc. are in place for his city? Why is this incompetent moron expecting the Federal Government to act in a fraction of the time he ever took to prevent this shit in the first place? Of cource in the end, this retard willl be a national hero and Bush will be the evil "Bad Guy" who intentionally took Air Force One out into the Atlantic somewhere and conjured up Katrina from the bowels of Hell just to cause pain and suffering to the poor unfortunate victims of Nawlin's.

FEMA is responsible for providing aid to local resisdents whent the local government suffers such a widespread disaster. Comunication was cut off completely thus disallowing local government from operating. Thousands of people stranded outside the convention center for 5 days with no relief. THAT is fema's failure. America managed to make massive food and supply air drops to asian countries only 2 DAYS after the tsunami. Thats half-way across the friggin world. Are you telling me that FEMA couldn't put together a plan to drop supplies in front of the convention center in New Orleans?

 

In 2001 there was a plan proposed to fix the offshore areas and levys south of Louisiana. 14 billion dollars was required to do this and the money was needed from federal. The paln was axed in favor of a cheaper plan to build a levy system that could only handle a catagory 3 hurricane. This was not local governments falut.

 

Scientific American editors published an article in 1998 stating "an immense disaster in the New Orleans area is inevitable " In the end it was money that dictated what preperations taken.

It was FEMA's incompetence that has stood out for the world to view. In the event of a large scale disaster that cripples local gov's capacity to opperate, it is their JOB to fill the cracks. It is friday afternoon and FEMA is just now starting to provide the aid that was needed days ago. In the end FEMA will undergo massive restructuring and will bear the blame for this digusting display of disaster relief.

Totally right! The black leaders in this Country (the main problem) always says that poverty/whitie causes violence and crime among blacks, but yet rich black super stars cant even have award shows to award them selfs without shootings and stabbings. EVERY YEAR! And theres not a white person within 50 miles! Hell they just go ahead and outline the red carpet in chalk before they even arive.
