Just something to keep in mind next time someone goes deleting a bunch of posts I had lined up for the piss pot.

 

Everyone who was here last night was having a blast with them, nobody posted in the regular forums, they were hurting no one. In fact, some of the members wanted more... we had a great time with the sucks gang, and for some reason, someone decided to delete the posts, not just soft delete, or move to oh say... the black hole forum... but delete them.. I'm not very happy with this person at the moment, they have destroyed some great fun stuff in the piss pot forum... HUNDREDS of posts.

Neutral as well. I'm all about fun, but also all about quality of the site as well. I will admit it becomes quite annoying to clean up their mess so I just let everyone else doing it. I also had fun pissing them off because most of them ran away like stupid little pussies. It is when they start attcking me or anyone else's actual posts that pisses me off (hence why I attacked Anna when she first came here). In fact I talked to Anna yestderday and didn't seem so bad. Actuallly quite capable of haing a normal conversation. Like I said, it is getting old but as long as they DO NOT kill serious posts with the stupidity, they can rape the piss pot all they want.

 

Phreak already knows my standing with this as does Anna. But frankly I think the whole fiasco is gone far enough And I do see where CES is coming from. Hence why I am not picking any sides. First off, I would like to say, I moderate this site for Mr. Schwarz with a passion. I put every ounce of my imagination and creativity I can muster to give the members an experience on GF that keeps them coming back for more and more everyday. I feel that BBS community's are the perfect alternative to monthly fee AOL type content, and yahoo/aim/msn messenger chat. Tori and I were discussing earlier this morning on how well the board is so organized and the content categories placed. One of the things about GF is we take in all those rejects that other boards ban, and give them a community of friends to joke with, make fun of, debate with, and generally share our lives. My friend Hacker XT (old AOL buddy) commented to me a couple months ago about how GF looks like it's a bitch board when you first see it, but when you read into the board there is something in it that rekindles the AOL of old. The FIGHTING members actually carry on good conversations with each other, all in all, we behave like a family unit, and we don't have the inconvenience of pop up ads, or commercialized bullshit banners annoying us and Instant message links to porn sites and all the other shit that goes with the normal chat services.

 

 

However, GF does have an agenda to be a site which generates revenue. My job, since taking the MOD position, is always first and foremost, to increase Mr. Schwarz site's popularity and NOTERIETY any way possible. Bob does his end by setting us up for search engine hits, and writing the modules that would work for about a zillion different suggestions I have tossed at him. I do my part by giving the board a unique unconventional moderating style that is not found in any other board. Don't think for even a split second I am ever off my rocker when I do the things that I do, I am very calculated, yet admittedly schizophrenic under the right conditions. That is beyond any of my control, and has been an issue I deal with every day of my life. No, I am not saying.. "Oh gee poor Eric, cut him a break", but what I am saying is I always have a method and reasoning behind any sort of crazy ass thing that I seem to come up with. Bob has entrusted me to make his site one of the most kick ass sites on the internet, I use over 10 years of net use experience dealing with every sort of person one could come across in this fucked up world, and my personal dealings with them to retrain the casual PC user surfing the net into someone who finds a ring of friends they can be part of. My moderating style is based solely on this principal. I try to make it clear to people, even the ones I idiot box, that were just having fun, and they aren't REALLY hated by anybody. I use all of my sarcasm to get people to lighten up and just be who they are. I find that from the smartest to the dumbest, every member has a personality, the new members have them too, but they are just untapped.

 

C.E.S. if you REREAD the reasoning I had for wanting you to be a MOD it is simply because I felt that even though you know how to be all the prick you can be, that you would know that the bigger part is getting into the minds of the idiots and provoking intelectual conversation out of them. Outlaw, Vortex, builder, AIG and myself have had no problems at all in live chat provoking a conversation out of ANNA, even though her initial posts show she is an arrogant character, she did what ALOT of new members do to fuck up... she did what everybody else was doing. Her only fault, is she did it without people knowing who she really is except that she is also a Off Topic Forum member. Of course that website is filled with toilet humor, it is what it is. The members are actually quite intelligent away from the gags, jokes and insults they throw at each other. Take for instance premium member "SMUT BUTT" who has been a member of the holy army of the suckage for quite a while. He has ALSO been a part of "SPAMMING GAY BOARDS" but does not carry his Off Topic Forum persona onto GF.

 

There are OTHER Sucks members on GF besides ANNA, Smut, and myself, they just act accordingly. And being the childish idiots they are, will still spam the shit out of even GF when told to do so. It is a silly net game that the "Holy Army" plays, we know that the internet is still but a toy. You need to realize, there is NO SUCH THING as a TRUE serious debate forum that is 100% free speech. Since it will never be possible, the BEST approach to any successful board in gaining members, is to keep regular members regular visitors. In order to do that, we need to break down members into the categorys that they like the most. Some like MRIH, like to debate, some like tizz, like to bitch, builder likes to rant in his raunchy way, Vortex likes to get in on the comedy, and etc.. etc.. THIS is why the structure of the site works so well. One of the things that I have thought out is how to cater to people who like to flip others shit. Hence, the piss pot. Since the guest forum was closed and changed to the piss pot, the FLAME posts have stayed out of the regular posts. But the Piss Pot is lacking a bit in overall usage. The Sucks gang was doing me a favor by posting a bunch of crazy ass flame posts in the piss pot, several of us were having a blast with them, which let us utilize the piss pot. In case you haven't noticed, GF members LOVE IT when I call a carnage week. We all get a huge laugh out of saying crazy shit about each other. And in the end, even though some crybabys find it gross, people come back for more. Which is what we want.

 

The members let out all there REAL frustrations with other and show their humorus demented side, then when they are done having fun, they post some of the best damn post you could ever read.

 

While my "threat" of idiot boxing you, is just that... a threat... It served it's purpose of grabbing your attention. I realize you are having fun with your new Mod position, and that's all fine and dandy with me, but don't take what you do to serious, members will start getting pissed at you, trust me on this.

 

It surprises me that someone such as yourself, C.E.S., who only a few months ago bitched because Tori deleted your nude girl pick, could somehow think that Goatse or Tubgirl is wrong when it was put into a forum that it was designed for.

 

The pisspot, is probably the most maintenece free board we have. Don't worry about what gets said in there unless it is a FAPS violation. Focus on the other forums instead. If you are unsure about a posts content, then move it into the pisspot.

 

Or better yet, don't worry about it, and focus on being all the prick you can be.

 

I come on the site nightly, when traffic is slower, and I move posts all the time to the correct forum. I have been doing so for over 6 months now.

 

Every post has a place, just remember this and you will be fine. If you are unsure, just ask. Never delete them, only soft delete them. As for members... flip them shit, but don't make them want to leave, let them know were all just having fun. And try, if possible, to get some more participation out of Premium members when it comes to idiot boxing. If you were still just a Premium, this is what I would be doing for you.

 

As for people with multiple names on the same I.P.... ignore it like you don't notice.
