lilmizztemper Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Once again, respect is not fear or intimidation. Let us not get confused. ummm do we learn respect from having things handed to us on a silver platter??? Quote Things just haven't been the same since that house fell on my sister

jokersarewild Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 ummm do we learn respect from having things handed to us on a silver platter??? We learn to respect the properties of silver, considering they can hold a human head without spilling a drop of blood! Quote RoyalOrleans is my real dad!

wez Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 ummm do we learn respect from having things handed to us on a silver platter??? Is that the only other option to beating and abusing children? Quote
wez Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Coming to the conclusion that Phreak is all talk, no balls, wez decides to take matters into his own hands and plunges a sharpened toothbrush into the fleshy part of cool dudes ass and says.. "shoulda gave me my cupcake back, biatch!" Quote
lilmizztemper Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Is that the only other option to beating and abusing children? oh yeah...like giving a kid a stern lecture and a swat on the bum!!! THAT AINT ABUSE!!! Abuse is like whippin the shit outta yer kids...burnin em with cigarettes, locking them in closets and so on...the biggest thing to remind em is that you DO love them!!! Kids respond to discipline in different manners...so time-out works for some when it wont for others...and sometimes a swat will just make a situation worse! wez Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 There's only one way, and one way only to teach kids what you want them to know, by example. Quote
lilmizztemper Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 There's only one way, and one way only to teach kids what you want them to know, by example. well I dont disagree with that...thats very important...but kids, like us adults, sometimes can be stubborn as mules!!! And that theory only REALLY works 100% if you plan on secluding your child to home and no TV or interaction with others...as they learn things that way too...not every parent is gonna be a good example to their children unfortunately. I totally agree. it ain't just parents example kids will follow, but mostly. The first years before school determine a lot. Quote
