Recipe, oh yes, I have one.. It's actually what I just got finished eating tonight for supper.. Leftovers casserole

Ingredients: 2 cups of diced turkey, leftover green bean casserole.. if you need more, just add a can of green beans, leftover stuffing... and again, if you need more, just make a box of stove top. then add leftover gravy, mix the shit all up, and cover it with grated cheddar cheese, bake in the oven covered with foil for 45 min @ 350, and there you have an easy casserole.

A variation of it can be found here: http://thanksgiving.allrecipes.com/az/LftvrTrkyCssrl.asp

but I never use sour cream, that's fucking nasty.

I don't want to look at a turkey, eat turkey, read about turkey, smell turkey, or think about turkey ever again. Too much... turkey.

Maybe it was the beer. Nah... its never the beer.

No...it could NEVER be the beer.

I didn't actually eat much turkey yesterday. We had to do two family visits, so we went to his first- I had a VERY small piece of turkey, some potatoes (sucked) and green bean casserole (sucked).

Went to my mom's house, ate mostly side dishes there as well. And dessert.

Phreak-that sounds pretty damn good. I already downed all the green bean casserole for lunch, but I've got supplies for it.

Didn't feel like starting another thread dealing with recipes so I'll just ask here-need a recipe for roasted chicken. Never made it before. Help a sister out here, will ya'? :D

Have you ever used one of those roasters where you shove it up the Chicken so it stands up? This way alot of the fat goes down in the pain. They even have them that you can put a can of beer or whatever else you want in there so it will baste from within, whether it be beer or wine or some other liquid.

I've never tried it but I hear orange juice is good in the can and you baste the chicken with orange juice. You can even slice up oranges and put them under the skin of the chicken. Some people use lemon instead. Whatever you like.

Hm. Next time I'm out shopping I'll have to pick up one of those nifty contraptions.

I think either Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens and Things would have this kind of thing if you dont have a special gourmet kitch type store around.
