Look guys, I said it once, I will say it AGAIN... Jim Dean has done NOTHING to me personally !! The last time he EVER had a problem with something I said, is when I used some pictures for THIS video that were taken by Telegram staff without first asking him. AND HOW LONG AGO WAS THAT ??? He has never, since that time, EVER complained to me about how I conduct myself.

 

And, like gotony! said... what I said, were only OPINIONS and nothing more. Though my writing style is meant to draw in the reader..

The CONTENT however, was just my position and personal feelings on any of these given topics... the CHALLENGE was to see my fellow posters agree or disagree with me.

 

I was in no way trying to influence ANYBODY into siding with my perspective, and I ALSO appreciated everybody's comments, even if I didn't agree with them...

 

While some of you may have objected to the way I worded some of my commentary, unlike most of you, I have no problem at all saying what I write face to face with anybody. I don't hide behind my keyboard.

 

I outed myself to strengthen my position. How many of you, besides Sam are willing to ALSO do this ??

 

Again, to state why I left... it was NOT because of anything Mr. Dean has done to me. It was because of what I saw happening to others.

 

I don't know about YOU guys, but I just can't trust that the opinions or views I am seeing from others is the real community consensus.

 

How do I know if tony, or Sam, or tucker, or fred or any other person may have had an opinion, and it was not shared because someone didn't like it ??

 

How do I know if I am actually reading the views of someone and not someone else ??

I have seen MANY OTHER instances of not only THIS but deleting as well.

 

Posts that are submitted, shown to the public for about 1/2 an hour... then LATER are now mysteriously gone..

 

HOW CAN YOU TRUST THAT EVEN IF YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THE TOPIC ??

That is all I am asking from the Telegram, to ensure that I am able to view the perspective of others.

 

Doesn't matter if I agree or disagree, what matters is that I get to see the views of my fellow posters.

YOUR WELCOME! Yes, i have had some posts deleted on the hot topics board several times. I didn't think that i took any personal jabs at anyone. Don't understand why they were removed. I do enjoy the telegram board, but just started skimming thru the GF board, quite interesting. The topics here are usually not Columbus specific though. They are oriented for all kinds of subject matter and are uncensored and even unmoderated. We take no offense to shit people say, and censor them, we fire back instead...

 

One of the reasons this site is #1 on google for alot of key terms.

 

But most of all, we all have fun bitching at and to each other about shit that doesn't matter.

Well..i am glad we were not that close then..gross!! I remember Ozzy dunking his head in buckets of water, leaping around on stage like a frog and then throwing the water in the audience. Wasn't one of the better concerts i have been to.

I remember getting all the way to like almost Fremont and realizing we left the damn tickets back in Schuyler at my house, and had to go back and get them.

 

I also remember the old couple that were next to me and Peggy getting stoned as hell.....AND PASSING IT ALONG !!

 

And now that I think back more, I also remember Ugly Kid Joe and Slaughter playing as the opening acts..

 

Ahh the memories !!

 

BTW people, Gwen is the only girl I know, who complained her boyfriend (Skanky Franky) didn't fuck her enough.

I went to that concert too. That was one of the best concerts that I have been to. It wasn't even so much the theatrics, but Ozzy had so much control and influence over that crowd that it was like electricity in the air. Almost felt like I was high when I wasn't. (that night)

Hell I can even remember the exact location when you had told me this.... Lake North... right after you guys had broken up and you hooked up with Chad.

 

The scene: Me and Adrian were cruising around Lake North, when, from the distance, we see a girl looking good in this sexy black swim suit.... getting closer, we realize it was Gwen (much to our disappointment ), so we pull over to bullshit with her.. and we are discussing Frank.... during this discussion, she tells us... no I take that back... she complains to us that Frank never gave her enough...probably from all the drugs he was doing would be my guess..

 

And to confirm this, I just got off the phone with Adrian.... he also recalls this incident...

The Telegram forum is closed

 

 

We found it necessary to close our open forum today because of misbehavior by a handful of people.

Wasn't me, I haven't posted on it in 3 days. And, all my posts are gone.

 

These people seem to have confused free speech with behavior that is tanatamount to yelling "fire" in a crowded theater or buying a can of spray paint to spew gibberish and obscenities in the public view.

My guess would be, that these people were getting sick of having their posts deleted for no reason, and decided to ALSO wipe out their posts.

Innapropriate means, the post must agree with the Telegram's point of view.

 

We believe the open forum can be a valid and useful place for community debate.

Provided you agree with someone else's view.

 

We hope that when it reopens that people will use it in the manner for which it was intended.

In the meantime, posts will continue to be allowed here in the "Hot topics" area, and users can suggest topics for discussion through the form at the bottom of this posting.

Translated, this means "In the mean time, you will be subjected to the same censorship that is the cause of all the discord on the forums... THE HOT TOPICS POSTS.

 

We regret that this was necessary and will make the forum available as described above in the near future.

O.K. Jim... here's a clue for you... the issue is the way you are withholding comments in the HOT TOPICS portion, and the comments sections of Telegram stories... NOT what is happening in the forum...

 

Moderate the forum all you want, nobody will care... actually, we INSIST that it is moderated... however.. you REALLY need to do a better job on the "HOT TOPICS" portion of the site...

1. Instead of having a HOT TOPICS column where you are withholding comments, why not create these "HOT TOPICS" in the forums, and pick out decent comments and paste them in the "HOT TOPICS" portion of the board.

 

2. The same goes with the comments section

 

3. Quit deleting archived posts in the forums. Some of us have put alot of effort into these comments over the years, to watch them all get wiped out, is a travesty.. You wouldn't like it if someone wiped out all the Telegram news article archives would you ?? So don't bitch if some of us chose to wipe out our own. Were just following in your foot steps...

 

4. Small town politics, are getting in the way of honest opinions Jim. You need to stop trying to withhold comments for the sake of the big boys, and let them see what people think... THIS is progress !!
