builder Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Nigerian nationals are well-represented there. What part of DON'T TRAFFIC DRUGS are you having problems with? If these people were not out to line their pockets at the expense of others, then they might be at home recovering from a family christmas piss-up. I have no compassion for drug traffickers. If you want to make money off drugs, plant some fucking seeds, and play bush lotto. Quote Persevere, it pisses people off.

In the UK the negro drug smuggling issue is mostly Caribbeans, smuggling cocaine. I too do not have much symapthy for these lice that prey on the vulnerable simply to enrich themselves. They are murderers in my book. Their victims die because of their actions. However I am symathetic to some of the people in there, for example, one man is a heroin addict. He, like others in his position, cannot think about about morality, guilt, responsibility and all that stuff. He is totally absorbed with his addiction and the need to get the stuff. He was not smuggling it to make money, but simply to have the stuff for himself when he got home. Thats his story. Maybe you don't believe him. I do. Addicts fear not having it, the way the rest of us fear death. Then theres all the Thais in there. What on earth would make them do it, given that they know the consequences if caught ? Possibly they are addicts themselves, or else they are desperately trying to raise enough funds to feed there families in the only way they can. I am not prepared to judge them, as like you, I have a priveliged background. I was born in the west. Also , should we judge these people who have experienced at first hand- absolute poverty ? Some of them have watched siblings and children die in infancy of easily curable diseases, and malnutrition, maybe even starvation. I have been to Thailand, and have seen the way poor people are forced to live. Its as bad as anything you have seen on tv about africa or india. I am hoping to be in Thailand soon, and will probably take some stuff in for them, but there are just so many there. Quote
tiredofwhiners Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I'll tell you who had a shitty Christmas. I saw a news story from Ohio on Fox. Could not find a written story to link though. A man (husband i'm guessing separated) on Christmas walked into the house. Shot and killed his wife and a man, in front of his 4yr boy and 7yr girl. While his 7 yr was on the phone with 911, then took the 4yr old and left. The 4yr was recovered unharmed, i think they caught the guy. This is a case where the cop that caught him should be aloud to shoot him in the head, then get an award. Case closed!! Quote AA's for quitters...i'm no quitter!

And i somewhat agree, BUT when life is so bad why do those people keep reproducing. Lethalfind Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I don't feel sympathy for someone who has been imprisoned because of their drug habit. Its their choice, they took the wrong road. They deserve to be punished. What would I do if I had a friend with this problem, of course they would have my sympathy and my help such as it is but I would not enable them in anyway. If this person ultimately got caught and put in jail, that would be their choice. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
