This is an obviously biased list, but at the same time it brings up another point.

Education vs. Experience.

Many of those who did not serve in the armed forces chose to get a college education instead. Many are entrepreneurs, businessmen, and lawyers. Many know the law inside out, and others make a living running corporations and businesses. Does that make them less fit to lead or more fit to lead? Less fit to run a country and make laws or more fit to do so?

 

 

I think the point of the list was to state the hypocracy of how those who haven't served are the ones sending people off to war. Not whether service makes them better leaders or not

Exactly I don't think you needed to carry a gun to become a politician. We are all Americans. I would hope commonsense would be a pr-requisite.

This is America....

 

The common sense has long since been bred out of us, and TV and managed news is doing a number on our useful remnants...

 

This country is going to continue to spiral down hill untill we stand up and face our issues without first rolling them in sugar as to not offend anyone...
