Lethalfind Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I was away for 3 weeks in Texas. I missed Tivo terribly. Now that I'm back I'm disgusted to find that most of the TV I missed and was trying to watch AND what is coming on now is all reruns. Come on, I need some boob tube time and everything that comes on is reruns. I guess I will have to resort to reading. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
angie Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I feel your pain. I've been waiting for a new episode of House MD for a few weeks. But on a happy note, 24 starts next weekend Quote http://www.darwinawards.com/ http://www.snopes.com http://www.breakthechain.org STOP THE SPAM!! Click Me You Know You Want To

Lethalfind Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 They say a new Desperate Housewives will be on this Sunday night, thank god. I hope this is a signal to the end of the reruns. I also love Ghost Whisperer and they say that is a new one tonight as well. I have missed Boston Legal as well. I have resorted to watching decorating shows and talk shows more then usual, how sad. ImWithStupid Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Are there any Sopranos fans here? I am on pins and needles awaiting their sixth season premier. I used to be a big Sopranos fan but couldn't afford HBO anymore and started missing too many episodes to follow along. I then lost interest. That was the one thing that almost kept me from getting rid of HBO. I could care less about the movies. Quote

Well the various Sopranos episodes are made available on DVD compilations and you can rent them via NetFlix for next to nothing. Lethalfind Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 I had HBO for awhile but only to watch Sex in the City uncut. Once I had seen all the episodes I got netflix. I get alot more for my money with netflix then I did with HBO. I rarely watched movies on HBO and when I did it was nothing that great. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

Lethalfind Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Owww... man! I hated that show! Sarah Jessica Parker is ugly and has a huge nose. I can't argue with that but I liked the show. I was brought up in a culture where sex was not mentioned. So anything sexually explicit is of interest to me. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

Quite a conundrum. Quote To be the Man, you've got to beat the Man. - Ric Flair Everybody knows I'm known for dropping science.
Lethalfind Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 I grew up in a similar household, however it was understood that men do it as a right of passage, but women wait until they're married. Quite a conundrum. No one was supposed to be having sex unless they were married and even then they weren't supposed to like it. It was frowned on the idea of having sex for something other then children and you definetly weren't supposed to be having oral sex. What a bunch of killjoys. Lethalfind Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 AND (drum roll) we have a whole new episode of Medium, I'm so thrilled I'm almost giddy. Last night there was a new episode of Desperate Housewives and Law and Order, OH MY GOD !!! Can it get any better then this?? Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
ImWithStupid Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Well the various Sopranos episodes are made available on DVD compilations and you can rent them via NetFlix for next to nothing. I keep telling myself to watch the seasons I missed on DVD but I don't have the kind of time it would take and just have not gotten around to it. Thanks though. Quote

Lethalfind Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 ER was good and of course all new HOWEVER I was very dissappointed that the FBI show with Anthony LePaglia (can't remember the fuckin name) was a rerun, damn it. I finally remember it, Without a Trace Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
Lethalfind Posted January 14, 2006 Author Posted January 14, 2006 I watched The Book of Daniel tonight for the first time. You know the TV program that has all the bible thumpers up in arms. It was pretty funny expecially when the priest is popping pills and halucinating visions of Jesus. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
ToriAllen Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Well, no more reruns for a while. I'm glad my Sunday nights are back. I missed Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. And, Lost and Threshold are back on Wednesdays. Threshold just kind of ended before the Christmas break with no previews of the next episode. I was afraid they weren't going to bring it back after the holiday was over. Now, I get to waste time watching TV instead of studying. I am a huge fan of Threshold but mainly because of Brent Spiner, the guy who plays the doctor used to play Data in Star Trek, you know the android.
