On the subject, I have some new neighbors who are originally from Puerto Rico, they think because I'm so white that I don't know they are swearing at me...ignorance is bliss. I have to say I have not had a good experience with them to date... The neighbors I am having a problem with are Puerto Rican, my old boss that I wanted to slap down was also, not too mention countless others that I worked with. The women (I can't speak for the men) were so emotional it was like walking into a funeral there was so much crying and bullshit going on at work. scout Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Whoa, this comes as a surprise to me. I had one friend that I made at work that was Puerto Rican. I may have known more as I didn't and actually don't readily know the difference between Latin groups. He was of the first class when it came to being a family man, crew member and friend. His only fault was that he tried too hard for EVERYONE to like him. Since I got the phone call that told me that he shot himself because his wife and son were leaving him, I haven't gotten totally over the question of, what could I have done. I haven't met alot of Cubans but the ones I have met I like alot, now I can add Ang to that list. I also have always been around Mexicans, one of my closest friends here in Florida is Mexican. I worked with a woman who was Dominican who was very graceful and soft spoken but I don't know if she is typical. She was very classy in her behavoir I mean, smart etc. I also worked with a Columbian woman who, it has to be said was a blight on woman in general. She was another one who gave us all a bad name.
