italiano_Pride Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 It's funny how noone listens to our founding fathers words anymore. Well, by this time if they were heard today, a lot of people would be fucked. Thomas Jefferson said that in order to keep the peace we must have an armed revolt every 20 years. Of course he was talking about the people revolting to keep te government in line. The government has seemed to have gotten it ass backwards and now has a war every good few years to keep us scared so we'll roll over like dogs and do anything they want. Fuck them. Benjamin Franklin said that those who sacrifice liberty for safety deserve niether. I think it's time we started deporting some fucking people. Quote

"I will say that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races from living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they can not so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race." ---Abraham Lincoln (from his fourth debate with Stephen Douglas in 1858.) Skaterdude409 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 abraham once said that if he could end the war without freeing a single salve he would. why didnt he try harder to end it that way? Quote
builder Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 abraham once said that if he could end the war without freeing a single salve he would. why didnt he try harder to end it that way? Well, if you look at what happened in South Africa, the US would have suffered sanctions in trade, sport, travel, tourism, and world standing, and eventually the slaves would be running your show for you. Oh, hang on, Rumsfeld and Rice-puff are ex-slaves, aren't they? Quote Persevere, it pisses people off.
ImWithStupid Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Ironic how that was a quote form the same man who freed the slaves. I never siad listen to all of what they said did I, asshole? He never said they should be equal, just free. It was also just a jab at the Confederacy in an attempt to get the blacks on the side of the North. If anyone claims anything different, they are blinded by the "myth of Lincoln". The war was tearing him apart and he used the blacks to try to win the war. Although I will say Lincoln was one of the great Presidents of the United States, he was no saint. Quote
