tizz Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 we had a cat piss all over a radiator and rusted the thing like you wouldn't believe!!! Cat piss can eat through ANYTHING!!!!! BTW the only really good way to get rid of the smell is vinegar plus if you can find a good enzyme claener, but ALWAYS finish off the cleaning with vinegar!!!!!!! side note... if you get plies (we get them in our workshop where we clean scallops) fill a plastic bag a little over half with vinegar, tie it off and poke a few holes above the liquid. Hang that from the ceiling and for some reason you won't see anymore flies. Works like a charm!!! That was hilarious... The poor cat is okay though, right? lol. I can imagine the lawsuits and fuss by animal lovers and PETA that commercial would stir if it was aired here in the US. Quote

I keep a HUGE jug of it to put in the tank (with water of course) of my trusty carpet cleaner, I use that damn carpet cleaner more then I drive my car. I have also found a couple different products for removing pet smells but do you guys have a brand that you use? Tizz you mentioned enzyme cleaner, I assume that is something for cleaning pet smells? LMAO, that's hilarious! Gotta try that one the next time the little bitch pisses in my house! Quote Dementia is just a state of mind.
Feckless Wench Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 Sodium Bicarbonate is good for getting rid of the smell too. Make a paste of it, brush it well onto whatever got pissed on and then brush/vacuum it off when it's dry. (Be careful to test a small patch first if is is something higly coloured). angie Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Wow. You guys have some awful cats. We have two cats and they're very well trained (they were already that way when we got them). A few years ago, I cleaned out my litterbox one morning (it was only Frank my cat and I) and forgot to refill the box! I came home from work and saw what I had done and felt rotten. I went to shower that evening, and he had peed in the shower! I don't know if it's luck or what, but that's where he goes if the litterbox has no litter or my fiancee forgets to clean the box and it's full. He's a great cat. My fiancee's cat is good too. I just don't like him because he's an attention whore. Quote http://www.darwinawards.com/ http://www.snopes.com http://www.breakthechain.org STOP THE SPAM!! Click Me You Know You Want To

Unfortunately one of the cats I have now, a big fat orange guy named Rufus, will poop on the floor right out in front of you as if to point out your mistake...He is scared stiff of the shower so I don't imagine he would get anywhere near it.
