Then we will e-mail it to the ACLU, ACLJ and post it on the Findlaw message board. And let real lawyers tell us who'se right.

If two respondants say it does qualify as defamation, Phreak not only puts the "I'm an Idiot" under his own name, but a second line as well - "Papa's my daddy." For one full year.

Holierthen Thou Papabryant wants to insult my intelligence, I felt I at least had to set a few things straight. I guess I should start by saying that if we contradict him, we are labelled pernicious, disloyal reprobates. If we capitulate, however, we forfeit our freedoms. You should never forget the three most important facets of his contrivances, namely their temperamental origins, their internal contradictions, and their tendentious nature. Holierthen Thou, believes that he is the way, the truth, and the light. That's just wrong. He further believes that our elected officials should be available for purchase by special-interest groups. Wrong again!

Holierthen Thou Pumpyourbutt has two imperatives. The first is to infringe upon our most important constitutional rights. The second imperative is to embark on wholesale torture and slaughter of innocent civilians. His reasoning is circular and therefore invalid. In other words, he always begins an argument with his conclusion (e.g., that everything he says is entirely and thoroughly true) and therefore -- not surprisingly -- he always arrives at that very conclusion. He should not carve out space in the mainstream for bloodthirsty politics. Not now, not ever.

I'll let you in on a little secret: the central paradox of his memoirs, the twist that makes PumpYa's artifices so irresistible to bleeding-heart flag burners, is that these people truly believe that it's okay for him to indulge his every whim and lust without regard for anyone else or for society as a whole. That's the sort of statement that some people maintain is nutty, but which I believe is merely a statement of fact. And it's a statement that needs to be made, because this is a free country, and I aver we ought to keep it that way. I do not wish to evaluate nepotism here, though I suspect that Holierthen receives most of his knowledge from "Egotism for Dummies". Am I being unduly harsh for writing that? I think not. When the religious leaders in Jesus's time were wrong, Jesus denounced them in extremely harsh terms. So why shouldn't I, too, use extremely harsh terms to indicate that papafullofshit is the prototypical face of blackguardism? Lastly, Rev. Holierthen Thou Papabryant's statements turn the stomachs of those who know even a little about the real world.

What do we accomplish at our site by having these rules?

We have a fun place to be, that can also have a serious discussions. Except for the rule #1 & 2 (which are conditions of our free use of server and software) we don't limit anyones ability to speak their mind. Our site isn't full of baseless attacks as yours is. Maybe you prefer your site more like that, hey ya know what? that's fine and dandy for you. We prefer (as do our members) a place with a bit more control than what you have here, but not so overly trynanical that they cannot say whatever it is that is on their minds.

 

Not once did I say our site was better than yours, because it would be like comparing apples to oranges. Sure they are both fruit, but both serve different needs. Heck, our site is still a baby site.

You, however, as a mod- suck ass. Mostly because you get your panties in a wad over someone questioning you (or gasp suggesting a way to make the site better,) but say how everyoen has free speech here. Your answer to everything?
