builder Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Makes enough sense not to trust a doormat; Even if they are good themselves, its a terrible person thats in control of them. Don't blame the puppet kind of scenerio. Too true. I get "flashes" all the time. Like I'm about to do something on the job, and I get a flash that I should stop and check it out again. It saves me heaps in unnecessary fuck-ups. I follow these flashes, and the times when I'm wrong do not even come close to outweighing the times when the flash is right. I listen to them. And act on them. If they are not intuitive thought, then some fucking fairy godmother knows her shit when it comes to construction work, and she gets in my ear and gives me a "flash" with her magic wand. I like it. 1 Quote Persevere, it pisses people off.

cynthiaa89 Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I regret not following my gut instinct everyday. It always turns out to be right, wether it's tests or real life, it's scary...I never listen to it though. Quote "Life's tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid."

cynthiaa89 Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Because the 1 out of 100 times I choose to go with my gut, that's the one time it is EXTREMELY wrong. I'd hate for people to see through my intelligent facade and find out I'm actually legally retarded. What a shame that would be. 1 Quote "Life's tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid."
