They deserve the same rights as any couple. They however have NO RIGHT making a religion condone their actions. Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. Just like the pharmacist and the doctor. The Priest should not be forced to perform something they find morally wrong. Is it just the word Marriage that the gays are looking for? Or is it acceptance? I agree you cannot force a priest to preform the cerimonies against their will. Gay marriage is legal here in Canada and there is no shortage of priests willing to marry gay couples (Except in Alberta mayhap) but the legislation does not force a priest or whomever may be in charge to preform the cerimonies. There's no problem. Its all freedom and equality, nobody is trying for special rights here. Its the same deal as me trying for force an Imame to preform a cerimony for a none muslim, its their right to say no. Domesticating the dog just means that instead of it having to fend for its own, humans care for them. Did you know that ant tend flocks of aphids? Were not the only ones every to use other animals in this way. Sugar is a natural substence that grows in the gorund. IS it not? Keep in mind that all our food is either farmed from the earth or animals. Even proccesed foods are procesed from technology and materials that came from the earth.
