I'm not actually ridiculing Skategreen for her beliefs. If sh'e comfortable with this self help New Age theory, fantastic. But I do have my eyes wide open to the fact that this isn't a religion, it's a cult with little or no help offered to the believer. All the answers are self contained and if the answers aren't found, then keep digging deeper, because we don't know them either.

I will sign off on this thread, not because it's not a good discussion, but because I don't want any one to feel like I'm disrespecting their beliefs. Trying to get you to see the real side of what your saying maybe, but not disrespect. I think obtuse could be used to describe both parties in this discussion, because really, if you can't look at what I disagree with, then who's calling the kettle black?

I think the misconception here is that this is a personal attack. It's not personal. I don't know Skate nor ever had a conversation with her. However, we both disagree with each other's belief system. This a a great forum to be able to do that. But I don't feel like she's attacking me for being a Christian just as she shouldn't feel like I'm attacking her for Scientology. She can attack Christianity all she wants, it's not an attack on me. Disagreeing with a person's philosophy isn't disagreeing with the person.

The fact is they disrespect your beliefs. The loony left does not care if you are a Muslim, a Scientologist, a Wiccan, a Satanist...just don't be a Christian. Then you are the king of fools.

Katie to Tom: No Scientology Ritual at Birth

by Jennifer Cox 2/17/06

http://www.nationalledger.com/artman/publish/article_27263554.shtml

The fabulous Katie Holmes has reportedly declared to Tom Cruise that she will not allow Scientologists to commandeer her newborn at birth a published report details. Mike Walker gives an account that reports that Katie is hysterical over the possibility of a Scientology birth ritual that is reportedly called "Processing of a New Mother." In his Enquirer 'All the Gossip" weekly feature Walker claims that Katie is nervous over the fact that the baby will be controlled by the sects handlers.

The process is described in the article as a "bizarre ritual that separates mother and child for three days allowing only minimal contact." Katie told Tom that she will reject this and told the star actor and Scientologist never to speak of this again.

Reps for Tom deny the story. Reps for Katie did not comment. But it appears that as the birth gets closer, Katie is seven to eight months preggers, the reports and speculation of the birth and the relationship to follow are going to ramp up. Katie and Tom are in Australia smiling for the cameras, and are putting a brave face on the rumors and innuendo.

No wonder Nicole gave up on the wacko.

Joe DiCaprio (no relation to the actor) worships his big toe. He has been studying his big toe for thirty years. He never paid anybody a single dime during his studies. He is much smarter than a scientologist.

Well, he surely knows his toes. At least he's sure about something.

I wouldn't lie to you. ... if you're ever curious as to ... 'Jesus! This sounds nuts! Is it true?"... you can ask me. I'd answer you honestly and give you the straight goods. You got yourself a friend here who just happens to have all the inside scoop. I'm really not into "debating" Scn - and I don't shove it down anyone's throats...

(Ha ha! When I first started studying it I was all excited and learned REAL damn quick ... that an Excited Scientologist is just as annoying as an Excited JW, Christian, Moonie...Etc.!!!)

But I'm really quite free with it when asked.

But if you want to just post the media blatherings, or just want something to take pot shots at... there's tons of stuff out there to clasp to the chest as gospel truth, mount a battle cry against...and thus

have something to talk about.

I'm no fan of Tom Cruise but the article did mention the Enquirer as a source for information, nothing more needs to be said about the reliability of this artcle...

What kind of information source uses the Enguirer as a place to draw information?

I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

Cheers Skater. Just kicking the thread along is all. I really think if any cult should be in the news right about it now, it's the Moonies. That freak is getting too chummy with the Bush clan. I don't like it at all.

Oh I'm sorry don't you know what an arse is, it is an Australian term, like wanker, halfwit, cretin, but my new and all time personal favorite word to describe all of the above is "Hugoesk"
