Its not about pride, I was mentioning it because there are some jobs that women get paid more for doing, just like I'm sure there will always be some jobs that men are going to be paid more for.

So let me get this straight, you don't like the posts that were just my musings on teenage marriage and pregnancy (nothing cut and paste there) AND you don't like it when I for instance accuse you of being a mysogynst and back that up with an actual definition from an independent source...right, are you seeing a trend here? I was taught that when you make an accusation like that, its best to back it up with reliable resources...such as a dictionary definition...rather then pointless bullshit like in your posts.

I have never understood the urge for women to demonstrate they can do things just as well as men do. Men and Women are completely different and why not glory in those differences?

Exactly. I don't know why so many women believe they should/can earn a $150k annual salary, whilst being a body builder, taking care of her children, taking care of the house, etc. etc. It's not like men regularly go on quests to find out how they can get pregnant and give birth through their asshole.

 

I think a woman's place in this world is sort of complicated. I think because a man's role has been glorified, women want that. Strength, honour, service, intelligence, etc. has always been celebrated for men, and respected. Traditionally, the male's have been more celebrated for that, and the women are trying to compete. Most women forget we're not meant to compete. Males and females are polar opposites, and meant for very different roles. I'm not saying the womens' roles shouldn't be glorified, but we don't need two different genders of men in this world.

 

As for equal rights - I think the scale has tipped quite a bit. What happens when a man forgets his anniversary with his spouse, or he washes the laundry wrong, or doesn't change his kid's diaper the right way? He gets bitched out, maybe even slapped. Now, if a man slapped his wife, he'd get fined, at the very least.

 

Equal rights is bullshit. Women get MORE than their fair share through their traditional whining, complaining ways. We have been served on bended knee for the past few decades because we have made the scales tip so much. The ONLY huge inequality is probably in salary and high positions in the work force. Firstly, for salary, nothing is stopping a woman from getting the salary she wants. She just has to look in the right place. A man working at McDonalds may be getting minimum wage, yet a male at another fastfood restaurant like mcdonald's may be making a dollar more. Same job - different pay. Women just need to find a different place.

 

As for getting higher positions like CEOs and what not...Well, how many women could actually handle that job? I'm not saying this to depreciate a woman's ability, but honestly. Most women are not emotionally cut out to do the work of a CEO. Many women will shy away, fear the competition. Business can be a brutal cut throat job, and too many women are too emotionally unable to be able to take that. Not only is it the competitive factor, it requires LOTS of time at the office. It's not an 8-hour job. If a woman had to work 10-11 hours a day, they'd complain their arse off. They want time for the kids, time to clean, time to cook, time for themselves. I believe it's natural for women to want to be more domesticated. However, DON'T get me wrong - there are still plenty of women who have that edge that can succeed in business. And you know what? Those women who have that edge are already succeeding where they want to. Nothing is stopping them, and they know that. The plain fact is that some women just can't handle the intense job of being some sort of CEO, or what not in a large company.

 

Anyways, back to equal rights. How can women possibly complain so much? We vote, we get treated better by the law by never getting punished, we're treated like fragile dolls that shouldn't get beat. Hell, who were the ones left in the water when the Titanic sunk? MEN! because it's always women and children who get saved.

 

Dear women: Don't give the world such bullshit about not having equal rights. We're CATERED to. Why do we act like we have to own the fucking world before we're satisfied? There has to be give and take, we can't have everything, and we don't need to be everything. Women and men were built as opposites so we could compensate for our opposite gender's shortcomings, while they will make up for ours.

 

I say, be proud that God (or whatever) gave you the strength to bring people into the world. As far as I'm concerned, that is an honour, and proof enough that you don't need to fight to be better than men.
