pjbuk Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Hey guys this is my life partner Jason who has uploaded his tunes to betarecords. The more clicks he gets, the higher up the charts he goes. Lend your support will ya to both him and my great friend Andy... Fine musicians both. http://www.betarecords.com/jay.b http://www.betarecords.com/andy.thomas Your opinions on the tunes would also be greatly appreciated. That is also a great site for any budding musos out there who wish to put their tunes on the web... Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/e30d51b4d4217c26eba1784f9996709f.jpg

TheJenn88 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Very interesting listen to Jay B. The instrumentals are rather lame, and I can't tell if he's a rocker, or a gay boyband singer. His voice is sort of weird Technically, he knows what he's doing. His technique is proof of the credentials he lists. However, the music behind the lyrics and singing... very unprofessional and sound empty. However, I realize that it's made unprofessionally..so yeah As for the second guy you list, it'll only ever be a hobby for him. He has a nice sounded voice, but it's not a talented voice. His songs don't display someone who would've had training. His songs don't lead anywhere, there's not really a climax and he doesn't demonstrate a range. The first guy could jump into a falsetto seamlessly and come back to his normal range. This guy hasn't demonstrated anything beyond a one octave range. If he has hand training, I question as to where he got it from. I don't think he is consistantly using the right muscles to produce the sound that a trained/professional singer would have. Quote
pjbuk Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 Weird is good, it's way better than bad.... Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/e30d51b4d4217c26eba1784f9996709f.jpg
Gallytuck Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 There are loads of singers who've never had training. The majority of training they receive after making it big involves avoiding damage and learning how to care for the voice over extended use. Quote
