Before the invasion, no one really noticed if you were Sunnah or Shiah... Now people notice, and take heavy acocunts. Let them work together... as Iraqies... Let them put their differences asside. Let them build their own Iraq. It's their country... They are the base, they have been through hell as a nation. Quote Taking it up the poopchute from Allah since 1990.

While tolitarian regimes are often quite good at suppressing civil disobedience the Sunnis were highly favored by the previous Iraqi regime. I'm for a complete withdrawl, and deal solely with the victors once the smoke clears. Quote

It's most unfortunate that allied troops die in the mellee, but the larger plan is in place and collateral damage is par for the course. Quote Persevere, it pisses people off.

I really couldn't point out anything significant accomplished. And yeah, I have faith in all people. I believe man isn't naturally cold-hearted. snafu Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Like the article said it is a curcail step forward. The sooner they can run their own country the better. I think they are trying to mix Sunni and Shia. We have to do everything possible to detour a civil war or all this could be in vane. They have a very long history of fighting among themselves. Handing down resentment to each generation of course brings this on. It will take another generation to teach tolerance between the two. Like wise with the whole bas-akward religions needs to be revampt and retaught. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's just insane!"
