Jesus: A Cause Of Division.

"Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have

come to bring not peace but the sword."

When Jesus finished giving commands to his twelve disciples, he went

away from that place to teach and to preach in their towns.

Also read:

Psalm 124: 1-8.

Exodus 1: 8-14, 22.

I can't for the life of me figure out why this has any relevance,

except to prove once more that your imaginary friend is an asshole.

How can fictional characters dislike anything? How is someone who

advocates waving swords around at everyone not an asshole? Why would I

cry over your imaginary friend?

Couldn't be bothered.

The price in blood and tears that mankind generally has had to pay

for the comfort and spiritual refreshment that religion has

brought to a few has been too great to justify our entrusting

moral accountancy to religious belief.

Well looky here. The padre got one right. Way to go, padre. Jeebus

belief has been dividing societies for millennia. The differences in cult

dogma have been the cause of civil unrest, bigotry, hate crime, even the

most bloody wars in human history.

All for the sake of Christian Love.

My, my. If Neil got it wrong, aren't you supposed to redirect his

attention to the Truth? I think you just made Baby Jesus cry, Mike.

You need faith and knowledge, as well as style and class. But for now

focus on the first two.

Why would that be, padre? You seem to get by without any of them.
