The Pentagon approves disputed costs on Iraq contracts at a much

higher rate than on military contracts as a whole, Defense Department

records show.

 

Through last October, almost two-thirds of costs challenged by

Pentagon auditors as inflated, erroneous or otherwise improper

Can we really feign surprise?

 

Our representatives have still not bothered to find out where the

pentagon's missing 2.3 trillion dollars went. Would any legitimate

government in history just quietly write off 2.3 trillion missing

dollars?
