Guest Joe Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Finally, someone has the balls to put a name on Bush's bizarre behavior. NEW YORK The Pittsburgh newspaper owned by conservative billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife yesterday called the Bush administration's plans to stay the course in Iraq a "prescription for American suicide." The editorial in the Tribune-Review added, "And quite frankly, during last Thursday's news conference, when George Bush started blathering about 'sometimes the decisions you make and the consequences don't enable you to be loved,' we had to question his mental stability." http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003612271 Quote

Guest Part_Time_Troll Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Richard Mellon Scaife is only recently noticing this? this is another indicator that intelligence and perception aren't prequisite to obtaining wealth. 17 Jul 2007,Joe <mnb@fgh.com> in news:Ddbni.2237$Dx2.1591@newssvr17.news.prodigy.net: > The editorial in the Tribune-Review added, "And quite frankly, > during last Thursday's news conference, when George Bush started > blathering about 'sometimes the decisions you make and the > consequences don't enable you to be loved,' we had to question his > mental stability." it's been known for years that all bush voters' mental status has been as tenuous as bush's. -- http://www.wittenburgdoor.com/archives/waronerror_cheatcodes.html http://righthandthief.blogspot.com/ http://www.google.com/search?q=Giuliani+%22having+his+baby% 2C+and+aborting+it+too Quote

Right wing blow hards like Scaife have supported the conservative agenda even though every word of it is based on known lies. Now they're claiming the real problem is Bush, not conservatism. But the facts say otherwise. Nearly all the Republicans and ALL the conservatives supported the war even though there were no facts supporting war. Now they want us to think they're better than him. I don't think so. Their delusion will force them to support another war mongering right wing nut in 2008, so the delusion that took us to war and the delusion that allowed the GOP to create $9 trillion of debt won't go away until they go away. -- Impeach Bush http://zzpat.bravehost.com Impeach Search Engine http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=012146513885108216046:rzesyut3kmm Quote

Check antiwar.com, American Conservative Magazine, and also Ron Paul. This should tell you all you need to know about the state of those who bark to be conservative or not. It is the noisy ones, under the influence of neocons who end up barking the loudest. It is individuals aligned with Rupert Murdock who spoke in favor of war. The spin was so much, that you had a bulk of Democrats also supporting the war. There is no view on this war, for example, that Hillary has not taken, short of it going well, and Bush should be credited for it going well. - Rich Quote
