It's about Fred, a sweet thing, and $45,000 -- the beginning of Fred's end

Oooops.

Looks as though ol' Fred Thompson is not the squeaky clean good ol' boy he

wants everyone to believe.

Here's the story.

Back when he left the Senate, ol' Fred donated his papers to the Univ of

Tennessee library, where they lay unnoticed for years because no one really

gave a shit about a do-nothing Senator. Now that Fred thinks he should be

President, his papers are being examined closely. And guess what has popped

up???

It seems that Fred's current wife -- a big-titted blonde about 30 years

younger than Fred, who replaced his first wife whom Fred divorced --

journeyed from her home in Illinois to Nasvhille, TN (Why?? Who knows but

she sure as hell was no country singer seeking her fortune on the Grand Old

Opry.). But wait -- Fred lived in Nashville.

After arriving in Nashville, she presented Fred's staff with a proposal to

establish and maintain a website for Fred, for $45,000 per year. The staff

recommended the proposal be rejected because (1) she was inexperienced, and,

(2) $45,000 was about 20X the going rate for website maintenance.

Now -- the question is:

1. Was she simply an inxperienced businessperson who overpriced her

services?

-- OR --

2. Was she providing ol' Fred with, uh, shall we say "services," and she

and Fred cooked up a scheme whereby he could pay her for these "services"

under the guise of a business expense?????

Let's see -- Fred Thompson -- failed US Senator; divorced; re-married to a

sweet thing with a checkered past; lobbyist for one-third his adult life;

Hollywood elite; flip-flopper who says whatever his audience wants to hear.

Sounds like the perfect Republican candidate.
