If I'm early for something, I walk around and go buy a water or see if there's something to read or go put on lipstick. If I was waiting for tires to put on, I ask for a loaner and go do the the rest of my errands. Lunch breaks I would again run errands. If I was waiting for a husband(If you could here me laughing here you would freak), I would find a book store or go do something I wanted to be doing. I think your just more laid back then I am which isn't bad, it's just the way it is. I'm far too jittery to sit around and wait. Sometimes it's nice to just "be". I'm pretty busy, so here and there, it's really nice to just sit... and be. I could have wandered around the outlet mall while waiting for hubby.. but it was such a nice day..and we'd been running around doing all kinds of stuff...so it was nice to just plunk down and sit....lookin around, noticing things. Playing with a little stick in a bitty sand pile near the curb, feeling the breezes...looking at the buds on the nearby tree.. you get the idea. I bring a book along to a lot of places - train rides or long car rides, and often like to take the chance to read. But it's also nice to just sit and look. It's very extroverting. Good for the soul. Are you a speed walker? I'd bet you are. When running those errands..get the hell outta my way. I can't stand to mosey when I'm trying to get things done. If I have to go to the mall, I bet I'm walking 4.5 - 5mp (which is fast for my little legs) ... (on the treadmill I do 4.0- 4.3 ..and mall walking beats that) .. I'm with you there, that bullshit of grouping in the aisle pisses me off and when my daughter isn't with me I have been known to point out too people this is not a lounge but a grocery store, HELLO!! Here in Florida its anyone that falls into the Hispanic group, they gather like magpies and run their fuckin mouths like they have nothing else to do...right in the middle of the aisles. To be frank, I think its a Hispanic from the Carribean kind of thing because the Hispanics I have known from the North East are completely different. We have one Wal-Mart that is in a bad part of town that I don't go to at all. If I'm feeling really anti-social I go to a different grocery store, I love Costco because its not normally like that.
