Amazingly, the Bush-Perot split that gave us Bubba-Stiffy caused exactly

that to happen four years later. Bubba got almost the same number of votes

as he did 4 years earlier, Dole got almost the exact same number of votes as

Bush did 4 years earlier, and Perot got almost 10 million fewer votes -

which strongly suggests that there is a portion of folks who WON'T vote for

the better of two poor candidates...

 

The Socialist Dems aren't smart enough to table criminal amnesty until '09.

For that reason I think you're right.

 

We're at that classic fork in the road with Iraq. Nobody seems to want to

find out why it took 18 months to figure out we were getting our asses

kicked, the additional troops and the mods to ROE have clearly worked and

we'll either see an increase in proxy-based activity or we'll see

improvement.
