I have been seeing ALOT of idiot box polls going up as of late that do NOT comply with how PREMIUMS are allowed to use them. Joker being the number 1 perpetrator. You MUST include the names of the voters to have a valid poll, and ONLY Premium members are allowed to vote. Do NOT start the poll in the polling booth, I will not honor votes from non premium members. And again, you DO NOT have to include yourself as an option UNLESS the person you want boxed is a fellow premium. And when it comes to US as MODS, we can box ANYBODY we want EXCEPT for premium members, in which case, we must start a poll and have other premiums and mods vote. YES Tori broke the rule here, but I don't think she was aware of it... Now... To address your comment in another post that said something like "BOB SAID" yadda yadda yadda... you need to stop right there and lets get one thing straight before we continue any further... Bob says absolutely NOTHING as far as to how we as MODS treat other people, or to what rules if any we have or standards we follow. We as MODS have 100% creative control over this board, Bob Schwarz is simply the man who keeps us running smooth on the network. He is also the guy who assigns member levels and access rights, paying members get 100x100 avatar, 150x100 profile pic, and a signature. They are allowed to then also participate in GF's other board functions such as personal pages, journal's , gallery, arcade, etc... Just because you are moved to the idiots group as a PREMIUM member does not mean we are in any way shape or form denying you anything. Idiot box sentences have NEVER ran more then 7 days on ANY given person EVER except for papabryant who will remain there till he sues me for putting him there... or admits he is wrong... whichever comes first. I have ALWAYS released anybody who was ever boxed by another MOD for more then 7 days on the 7th day of their sentence. I really don't think it is fair to put a constant taunt on someone with the "I AM AN IDIOT" message. I give them at least enough credit for having enough balls to stick around and stay firm on their stance. And that is what this site is all about. FUCK YOU ALL if you think I will ever bow down to any member and let them treat another member like a constant retard. And for the record, yet once again... I AM NOT the lead Moderator, none of us are, and none of the other Moderators are obligated in any way shape or form to comply with a request I have given them. If Tori broke a rule that I created that says I don't want premiums boxed without a poll, then tough shit, that is her decision, and is not my business. Take it up with her, not with me, not with Bob. With Tori.. I can't believe ANYBODY could take being placed in the idiot box serious for any reason what so ever. We come to this site for one and only one thing, to bullshit with each other and bitch about everything under the sun. To be just plain mean, to being a real caring individual.. We have a pretty awsome regular crowd around here and it's all thanks to all of us just being general assholes with each other and making the crybabys leave.. If you look in the GF archives you will find TONS of characters who have crossed our paths over the last few months. And you'll also find people who stuck it out and became our friends... dare I say HUGO ??? or Hamza ?? If you act like an idiot then accept being in the box....None of us are perfect...and none of us can say we are exempt from the box in real life...why not here.... When you are on a board that spews constant harsh opinions it isnt a bad thing to be thrown back 4 steps or more to realize it!...no matter who the hell you are! Peace out! I will admit that if I were boxed when I first came here it might have scared me away (call me a pussy, I don’t care now). That’s why I don’t like to box anybody. But it is all in fun and it’s not like their taking your birthday away. Phreak was very receptive to me when I came here even though we disagreed and had different ideas on the subject. I remember Hugh G Rekshun giving AIG hell and I got pissed even though I didn’t agree with AIG. That’s when I really got the concept of the board. Even AIG took it better than me. So we all need to buck up and take the shit. Yeah, I got boxed early, had a bitch about it, and moved on. JAW got his karma on that one, so I felt kinda vindicated. Last time I boxed someone, I let them out in two hours time. Felt kinda mean. Got some bad rep back from him, so what the fuck! Who cares? BTW, have you been to other sites that have the idiot box option for mods? I think it's an excellent way to let someone know they're fucking up, without banning.
