Site Info / Suggestions

I have added a second style for users that don't like dark styles. You can switch to the style by using the style switcher on the bottom left of each page. The new style is called LPF v4 Light.

We now are on Twitter. All new content posted here will be mirrored on Twitter so make sure to follow @LPForums on Twitter. In the next couple days I will also add a way to login to the site with your Twitter and/or Facebook accounts.

If you have any problems logging in and can't use the password reset link then contact me using the sites contact form. If you have other issues with your login then post here to get them resolved.

The site has been upgraded to the newest version of software. The old styles were incompatible so instead of taking hours to fix them I installed 2 new styles. One light as default and the other dark. They are not much different than what we had so things should be similar.

I will be taking the site down for short periods of time this weekend to prepare for a software upgrade. On Monday I will be taking the site down for most of the day to do the actual upgrade. When the site comes back up there will be some changes. There will be a new gallery. The new gallery will integrate better with the software we use for the site. 2 new styles. 1 dark and 1 light. I will be removing TapaTalk as there is some security issues with the plugin that they either refuse to fix or think the issue is not a problem. I have changed the software that powers the site. Most things are the same some things are different. Over the next couple weeks I will be adding some extras that were not possible with the other software. I will also be adding a darker style for those that prefer them. If you find any bugs please let me know. I have been testing the site for a few weks and I heven't found any problems. Not that it's open to all I am sure there will be some problems that come up.

It has come to my attention that users that use Internet Explorer 10 can not post on this forum due to a bug in the forum software. The software maker vbulletin is aware of the problem, but, don't seem to be in a hurry to fix it. Since IE 10 is now the default browser for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 I have no choice except to change forum software. I have tried various fixes and nothing works. Over the course of the next 2 weekends I will be doing test migrations to a new system. Once I am sure everything can be converted over I will proceed with the change. I recently bought the community, about 3 hours ago in fact, from Nathan. My name is Bob and I've been involved in buying and building community forums since 1995. In the past I had a forum for Ford Ranger enthusiasts and another for Harley riders as part of my network. I sold the the 2 sites to concentrate on a new business venture. I will keep this thread updated with changes as they happen. Removed addons: Download system removed. It wasn't being used from what I see All ads removed. Donation system removed. Gallery removed. Can you make it so when it refreshes it will go down instead of up? Every time it refreshes it moves the box back to old posts instead of moving forward...

I installed a new photo gallery thats alot better then the one we have... Each member can make there own personal gallery... If you need help, just post in here ...

I have a vynil cutter now (from a friend) and ordered red and white vynil... They will look like our logo, except flat, meaning the red is all red and the white is all white... No shadow or embossed look... I also may have some orange... So if you want orange and white, post here.....All other colors will need to be purchased... Sorry, but vynil isnt cheap....

Ive made a few changes to each member group name color... Some are now bold and some just changed colors.... I use the dark skin, so you guys that use the light skin, will you please let me know how the colors look...
