Confrontation is not pleasant, but often necessary. And I don't care to please at my expense. "Libras love seduction and foreplay..." yeah.. There is a few similarities, since they are both romance languages. Italian even more so. I can pretty much understand everything in Italian since it's so similar to Spanish, but don't know how to speak it fluently. And then there is the feminine and masculine thing that is present in a lot of languages, which English doesn't have. So it makes it more difficult for people who only or mostly only speak English.

Spanish is a lot like French.

Actually that is how it should be. Like when I put 'temporada', that could mean 'weather' or 'season', but it can also mean 'time'. It's tricky, just like with any language- there are all of these rules and exceptions, and then differences when it is actually spoken and where.
