  1. Good night, Chesty! Where ever you are!
  2. My grandfather, who served in the Pacific, recently told me that my great-uncle Tom landed with the rest of the 29th on Omaha Beach. Tom fell in the D-Day invasion near Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes, or that's what is assumed to have happened.
  3. Half of the damn time heckling rabbles of teens/kids don't know what they are talking about. They pick up talking points from adults, ie teachers and parents/guardians, and spew it forth without certainty. On the other half, you have sh!theels acting out to impress a peer in the hopes of being accepted. The kid(s) associate with a counter-culture in their little school because in a queer sort of way they feel unaccepted or different than their parents/siblings, etc. That said, someone needs to be horsewhipped.
  4. Didn't they do a cover of "One Eyed One Horned Flyin' Purple People Eater"?
  5. Jesus H. Christ, son! You look like you're about to whoop some tail or bend it over the bed!
  6. Hey eddo! What has seven arms and sucks? Def Leppard

  8. I started the band, "RO Speedwagon". We do covers of REO Speedwagon songs, set to Big Band style music, and the lead singer is a crooner. Our cover of Riding the Storm Out has an all black back up choir.
  9. The increased solar activity of the late 20th century was predicted. There were concerns over satelites, communications, and the power grid, in the US Military in the late '80s. I figured out the global warming/climate change fraud early, I recall two of the first global warming alarmists in the early 80's had written a paper about an impending ice age. That made sense, if you look at a timeline of the ice ages, we're about due, but they were saying it was because of our industrial emissions blocking the sun to a tipping point. I was doubtful, because I knew the KGB seeded western 'environmental' groups with with millions to try to reduce our growth and industrial output. Brilliant subversion technique, by the way, the groups cost little to start, nothing to maintain, because they feed off donations from western dupes and fellow travelers. They use those funds to attack, stall, and make prohibitavely expensive any industrial development, and they've been very effective, though they most often damage the environment worse than they help. When these same two 'scientists' wrote a paper in the early 80's claiming our industrial and consumer emissions were now causing the opposite climatic effects, I knew theirs was a 'solution' in search of a problem. Lots of very respectable people who should know better fell for it. People are starting to catch on, though the 'environmentalists' have smoothly shifted from global warming to "climate change", a self fulfilling prophecy.
  10. A public opinion poll is no substitute for thought. - Warren Buffet.
  11. I would not allow my UNDERAGE daughter get an abortion, because of the convenience of it all. Not to be a burden on her, but a lesson on her to act responsibly. With a little faith, she will make the right decision to keep the child. Once my hypothetical daughter turns eighteen and is out from under my thumb, she can do what she wants to do with her body. Just because I am a MAN, doesn't make me right. And perhaps the government will take issue with all the ink on my body someday. I am a fence-straddler when it comes to this issue, because I believe whole-heartedly that a grown, legal woman can do what she wants with her body. Moreover, the government should have no say in the issue either. Let the adults decide and live with the guilt of ending a child's life.
  12. Oddly enough, Baptists were once considered heretics and were jailed for practicing their beliefs.
  13. No matter .. she should be confirmed. She's Obama's choice, and unless something criminal or truly horrendous shows up, there should be no filibuster and the Senate should confirm her. Let's hope Republicans don't act like Democrats on this one.
  14. Ok... so that some of my statements above are not misconstrued. I was playing devil's advocate, because you people know how much ol' Lucifer and I like to party. Here are my thoughts on the matter... Abortion will never be illegal throughout the United States, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned. The majority of the people in this country are in favor of a woman's right to chose whether or not she will have a child. Overturn Roe v. Wade and all you accomplish is placing the issue back with the states and state legislatures. Oh, to be sure, there will be a few states that will outlaw abortion. Others may put some additional restrictions on the procedure. All that will be accomplished there would be to make it difficult for poor women to travel to another state to get the procedure done. This will result in more children being born to a woman who: (a) don't want them (b) can't raise them properly For the rest, it will simply be a matter of getting in a car or on an airplane and traveling to the neighboring state where the procedure remains legal. Give it up, folks. There are issues we face in this country that are far, far more important than abortion ... and all of your protests aren't going to make a difference anyway. Let's concentrate on things such as the rule-of-law, property rights, and lessening the grasp that big government has on our lives. Kelo vs. New London is far more important to Americans than Roe v. Wade.
  15. Perfect government slaves or captains of industry, we will never know. There wouldn't be as many blacks, I tell you what. I'd rather see them aborted than to be used as anchors.
  16. Pushing a button here, Bendy? Rather see a trainload of aborted fetuses than the body of a dead doctor? You should be gleeful. That man put an end to the life of a doctor who was killing future taxpayers. Who will foot the bill now?
  17. Then justify Dr. Tiller's murder of the innocent.
  18. He was probably an asshole anyways. Good. One less asshole.
