Shaykh al-Islam Ahmad al-Sirhindi (d. 1034/1624; Rahimahullah) who is regarded by many people in the Indian sub-continent as a great renovator of the Tenth Islamic Century (Mujaddid alf Thani) wrote in his Maktubat (Vol. 3, Letter 38): "It was declared in a Hadith that this Ummah would part into 73 groups, 72 of which would go to Hell. This Hadith informs us that the 72 groups will be tormented in the Fire of Hell. It does not inform us that they will remain in torment eternally. Remaining in the torment of Hell Fire eternally is for those who do not have Iman. That is, it is for disbelievers. The 72 groups, on account of their corrupt beliefs, will go to Hell and will burn as much as the corruptness of their beliefs. One group, the 73rd, will be saved from Hell Fire because their belief is not corrupt. If among the members of this one group there are those who committed evil deeds and if these evil deeds of theirs have not been forgiven through repentance or intercession, it is possible that these, too, will burn in Hell as much as their sins. All of those who are in the 72 groups will go to Hell. But none of them will remain in Hell eternally. Not all of those who are in this one group will go to Hell. Of these only those who have committed evil deeds will go to Hell. The 72 reported groups of bid'ah, which will go to Hell, should not be called disbelievers, because they are Ahl al-Qibla (people of the Qibla in prayer). But, of these, the ones who disbelieve those facts in the Deen that are indispensably required to be believed, as well as those who deny the rules of the Shari'ah which every Muslim has heard and knows, become disbelievers." __________________ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاء إِلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُُ http://asunnifaqir.blogspot.com/ How do you know if you are in the right sect? Looks like the vast majority of Muslims are headed for the fire.

Mariama left out this verse of Muhammad addressing a Christian: (Surah An-Nisa 5:22) That Muhammad did have a way with words.

Never heard of Chowsky. Chomsky is a moron.

It cost very little to execute scum in the 50's. It is funny how the same fuckin' liberals who have caused the rise in the costs of executing a murderer now use the cost as a reason to eliminate the death penalty.

I think she wrote the letter.

Hollywood Squares ain't around anymore. Celebrity hasbeens have to do something to make a buck.

The US Supreme Court can be blamed for that.
-
I'm guessing you are a fucking dumbass.
-
Why did you bother to quote such garbage?
-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Man blamed for 14 murders executed in Texas November 17, 1998 Executing Lethal's buddy, Ken, the first fucking time would have deterred quite a few murders.
-
Let me continue the cut and paste war: The fact is there are conflicting studies and each side of the debate has pointed out flaws in the studies supporting the opponents position. The overwhelmingly liberal "experts" Lethatfind cites are just that overwhelmingly liberal. Why did the highest growth in the US murder rate in the 20th Century coincide with the Supreme Court' effective ban on the death penalty from 1967 to 1980?
-
Those studies have cause and effect confused. States with higher murder rates are more likely to defend their citizens by imposing the death penalty. Be careful when reading about studies to find out what the agenda of those publishing the study is.
-
Another liberal lie. There are many studies that have shown that the death penalty is a strong deterrent...the Emory University study just to name one.
-
Let me answer A. first: Actually the death penalty shows innocent life is so respected that those guilty of taking it must recieve the ultimate punishment. No one argues that fining thieves is wrong or imprisoning kidnappers. A kidnapper could argue "Gee, the state deprives prisoners of liberty why cain't I kidnap people?" b There is still not one proven case, post-Furman, of anyone executed who was innocent. c. They are fucking evil it would be much cheaper to kill them was it not for the pansy liberals drawing out the appeals process. You should get two appeals, they should be done within a year of your conviction. Psychopaths have no conscience and do not respond to therapy. Kill them Try coming up with something besides old worn out liberal lies for argument and you might get some respect. Every time I see someone who puts forth the argument that state executions compare to the crimes of serial killers I stamp them as a fucking moron.
